Where Have I Been??

Hello readers. I have taken about a year away from writing on this blog and it has been a very interesting experience. I have gotten a new job which has consumed quite a bit of time, and I have started a new relationship which takes up the other half of my time. I do miss writing though about different shows and I cannot wait to get back into this. I am going to make this a part of my routine and try to get at least a few posts out a week.  I am super excited to talk the final season of Scandal and of course Grey's Anatomy. There are also some cool shows on Netflix that I have been waiting to discuss, and cannot wait. I hope that people will read the new stuff I am writing and enjoy it just as before.  Thank you all and remember...  ~Keep Dreaming and Scheming~

Bones: The Hope in the Horror

The final season of Bones premiered last night, and it was amazing. Personally, I thought it was a strong start back, and maybe that is because I lowered my expectations. Whatever the case this episode made me love this show again. The teamwork, the love, and the twists. Hodgins and Wendell work together to figure out a way to track Brennan when she is missing.  Booth knows that Zack took her down to the basement which is where the Gormagon vault is located. Zack dismisses Brennan when she talks about Booth, and tells her that she now takes orders from him. When Booth gets down there Zack is holding a syringe of something and Brennan is telling him that he doesn't need to do this. Zack wants to inject himself with a truth serum so that Brennan will believe his innocence. Zack has been leaving the facility without anyone knowing. Sweets had been visiting him weekly, and when Sweets was killed that took a toll on Zack. There was a scar on his head that he got from self-harm. He

Man Crush Monday: Lin-Manuel Miranda

The first man crush Monday of the year goes to Lin-Manuel Miranda. The genius behind In the Heights, and Hamilton.  He's a talented man from New York that has made his work on Broadway known. He has also done his fair share of music work on movies. It wasn't until Hamilton that I really started to pay attention. I had listened to In The Heights  back in school, and saw the performance at the Thanksgiving Day Parade, but it was just something cool I liked at the time. When I heard the song "Alexander Hamilton" for the first time I was hooked. I loved the beat and style of the song, and I just had to listen to more. I found myself just crying over the soundtrack and fell in love with it. I couldn't believe that a rap musical about Alexander Hamilton had become one of my favorite things in the world. Lin not only gave great music with this, but gave me an interest in American History. In school we never really learned too much about Hamilton. I didn't kno

Sherlock The Six Thatchers *Spoilers*

After two years of waiting we got to see the first episode of Series 4. I was as always shocked by this episode, and left wanting more crying on my floor. It was such a great episode. It's nice that after such long periods of time the episodes are well worth the wait. The episode started off with some light humor between Sherlock and Mycroft which had me laughing and wanting to hashtag, #OhWhatABeautifulMorning. It was nice and had promise on the search for what Moriarty had in store. Plus all the cute scenes with Rosie, John and Mary's newborn daughter. Seeing a baby thrown in the mix of this trio was just adorable and quite funny. Sherlock thinks he is on the right track when he sees that busts of Margret Thatcher were being broken. He hides out at a house that would be robbed next and catches the thief in the act. Only when Sherlock confronts him, he realizes it is not what he thinks. Sherlock breaks the bust himself and sees a familiar memory stick hidden inside. It w

The Walking Dead Season 7 Episode 1 After Thoughts

I have to warn you there are spoilers for this although I imagine everyone was watching this episode. Also a language warning for this one guys. I cannot begin to put into words what I felt or really thought during this episode, but I'm giving this a shot anyways. When we finally see who Negan killed I don't know why I thought I'd feel better. I loved Abraham as a character and I took in each person dying as a possibility before tonight's episode, but when I saw that bat hit his head I couldn't believe it. I cried a lot harder than I thought I would. I love the way Abraham took his death though. He wasn't a little bitch about it, he took it strong like he had everything else. He straightened up at Lucielle being pointed at his face, and just took it. I loved that his last words were "Suck my nuts." I one of the best things about Abraham was the way he talked and this was just a fitting way for him to go out. The whole episode was pretty much in R

Scandal Has Ruined Me

I know that a lot of the posts I've actually gotten up lately have been about Scandal but I cannot help that. This show has grabbed hold of me and will not let go. The season finale has aired already and I'm in my hiatus depression for this show. It doesn't help that all my other shows are in or about to be on hiatus also.  I think the reason this show has grabbed my attention so hard is because of how real it is. Shonda Rhimes and all the writers show what that life is really hard, and just because it's a TV show doesn't mean it can be anything less than real. I hope that made some sense to people. It is just really good writing, and the fact that not everyone is happy all the time makes me love it. It shows what real relationships are like, and the struggles they face. I mean sure everyone wants Fitz and Olivia together, but it was shown how that kind of relationship would have went if it were happening to someone right now. It is just really easy to relate t

Scandal: Trump Card: First Thoughts (spoilers)

I have just watched the recent episode of Scandal and I am having trouble finding the right words to describe it. I will start off with Edison Davis. Edison has never been a favorite character of mine, but I even kind of liked him in tonight's episode. Him going off about Hollis Doyle was pure awesome to me, and the fact that he stood up big time to Eli. He ended his run and that made for a very happy Cyrus on team Vargas. I was going nuts when Jake and Eli came in and Eli basically sicked Jake on Edison. Only once Jake was alone with Edison he told him to tell Olivia he needed help, and he was chasing the sun. I was screaming at my TV at that moment. This episode got so me so hyped for the finale next week. Olivia's secret abortion is now shared with Abby, and apparently her father. Papa Pope handed that golden nugget to Abby and she fought hard on if she should use it or not. Olivia and Abby are in the Oval with Susan, Liz, David, Fitz and Mellie when Abby makes the choic
