Do you think that YouTube has given a more real version of reality TV? Do you think Vloggers on YouTube are better to watch that Reality TV? I am not trying to cause an argument this is jut what I think.
In my opinion I enjoy watching vlogs on YouTube more so than I do watching reality TV. I think that people on YouTube are more grateful for how far they have come then people on TV. For example one of my favorite channel to watch is The Shaytards. They are a family of five; Shay Carl, wife Colette, Gavin "Sontard", Avia "Princesstard", Emmi "Babytard", Brock "Brotard", Daxton "Brotard. This family has put their lives on camera for five years, and their Tard names have been talked about with so many people. Their channel has hit pass 2 million subscribers and is growing, and they celebrated 5 years of the Shaytards on Shay's birthday which was March 5. They are known as YouTube's "first family" and I am so glad that Shay picked up that camera one day and started vlogging. This is a nice family that has good times, and great morals, and are good for kids to look up to. Shay taught me even that you need to choose happiness in your life, and you need to just take control in your life. I love his energy and I love how he is with his family, and I love the stuff that they do together. He is a very successful man he is co-owner of Maker Studios, which was just bought by Disney. Even after all this success and money he and his family have not changed their views and morals, and they do not spoil their kids rotten just because they can. They are very loving to their fans and viewers, and always take time to stop and talk with them. I think that they are very entertaining to watch, and they have good advice if you choose to take it .
Another one I have been watching for a while is the CTFxC, which is "Charles Trippy Friend Core." He and his wife Alli have decided to separate, but they have been making videos for five years as well. Despite the fact that their marriage has ended they had a great marriage, and they brought everyone along for the ride. Charles Trippy is the bass player int he band We The Kings, and he is currently touring doing shows around, and being awesome. Charles recorded his proposal to Alli, they recorded their wedding, and he made a video that went out yesterday telling everyone what was going on. In that video he mentioned that him not telling the viewers that things have been going bad for the last few months made him feel like he was lying to everyone. It was an emotional video to watch, but he is still Charles and said that this is just the next chapter in his life, and he is thankful that he is still alive even though crappy things are happening. He was diagnosed with a brain tumor, and two surgeries, chemo, later he is where he is today. He is a talented guy, and a very brave man for opening his life the way he does.
The first people I ever watched on YouTube were The Vlog Brothers. John and Hank Green are some amazing individuals and they are not going to stop being awesome. John Green is an author and his book The Fault in Our Stars has been made into a movie and is coming out in June. They are huge nerds and that is what attracted me to them in the first place. They are responsible for the Nerdfighters, and we live by the moto Don't Forget to be Awesome or "DFTBA". Hank Green sings some pretty awesome songs about nerdy things or just whatever comes to him, and he plays the guitar quite well. They do educational videos where they will talk about the country's debt crisis, or healthcare. They try to inform the youth of America of what is going on in the world they are living in, and they don't make it sound so complicated. They posts videos in turn, Hank on Tuesday and John on Friday and that is how they keep in touch as well. It is a cool concept and they are always making videos interesting.
If you want to give them a watch pop over to YouTube and check them out, you will not regret it. These three channels literally have saved my life more than once, and pulled me out of my darkness. I would not have the courage or inspiration to blog right now if not for them, and I hope to get into vlogging and making videos because they inspire me to do so. Thank you so much for reading and I hope you liked this post.
