Where Have I Been??

Hello readers. I have taken about a year away from writing on this blog and it has been a very interesting experience. I have gotten a new job which has consumed quite a bit of time, and I have started a new relationship which takes up the other half of my time. I do miss writing though about different shows and I cannot wait to get back into this. I am going to make this a part of my routine and try to get at least a few posts out a week.  I am super excited to talk the final season of Scandal and of course Grey's Anatomy. There are also some cool shows on Netflix that I have been waiting to discuss, and cannot wait. I hope that people will read the new stuff I am writing and enjoy it just as before.  Thank you all and remember...  ~Keep Dreaming and Scheming~

Bones: The Hope in the Horror

The final season of Bones premiered last night, and it was amazing. Personally, I thought it was a strong start back, and maybe that is because I lowered my expectations. Whatever the case this episode made me love this show again. The teamwork, the love, and the twists. Hodgins and Wendell work together to figure out a way to track Brennan when she is missing.  Booth knows that Zack took her down to the basement which is where the Gormagon vault is located. Zack dismisses Brennan when she talks about Booth, and tells her that she now takes orders from him. When Booth gets down there Zack is holding a syringe of something and Brennan is telling him that he doesn't need to do this. Zack wants to inject himself with a truth serum so that Brennan will believe his innocence. Zack has been leaving the facility without anyone knowing. Sweets had been visiting him weekly, and when Sweets was killed that took a toll on Zack. There was a scar on his head that he got from self-harm. He

Man Crush Monday: Lin-Manuel Miranda

The first man crush Monday of the year goes to Lin-Manuel Miranda. The genius behind In the Heights, and Hamilton.  He's a talented man from New York that has made his work on Broadway known. He has also done his fair share of music work on movies. It wasn't until Hamilton that I really started to pay attention. I had listened to In The Heights  back in school, and saw the performance at the Thanksgiving Day Parade, but it was just something cool I liked at the time. When I heard the song "Alexander Hamilton" for the first time I was hooked. I loved the beat and style of the song, and I just had to listen to more. I found myself just crying over the soundtrack and fell in love with it. I couldn't believe that a rap musical about Alexander Hamilton had become one of my favorite things in the world. Lin not only gave great music with this, but gave me an interest in American History. In school we never really learned too much about Hamilton. I didn't kno

Sherlock The Six Thatchers *Spoilers*

After two years of waiting we got to see the first episode of Series 4. I was as always shocked by this episode, and left wanting more crying on my floor. It was such a great episode. It's nice that after such long periods of time the episodes are well worth the wait. The episode started off with some light humor between Sherlock and Mycroft which had me laughing and wanting to hashtag, #OhWhatABeautifulMorning. It was nice and had promise on the search for what Moriarty had in store. Plus all the cute scenes with Rosie, John and Mary's newborn daughter. Seeing a baby thrown in the mix of this trio was just adorable and quite funny. Sherlock thinks he is on the right track when he sees that busts of Margret Thatcher were being broken. He hides out at a house that would be robbed next and catches the thief in the act. Only when Sherlock confronts him, he realizes it is not what he thinks. Sherlock breaks the bust himself and sees a familiar memory stick hidden inside. It w
