Obsessive Fangirl

I have recently finished watching Life Unexpected on Netflix, and by recently I mean it is 1 A.M and I just watched the last episode. This show about a girl named Lux who is put up for adoption as a baby, but due to a heart condition she is in hospital's most of that time when parents want to adopt. So she has spent all her life in foster care being bumped from place to place, and then she finally files for emancipation. Only her biological parents never signed away their rights, so she has to go and find them so she can have them sign the papers she needs. Then we see how Lux's life unfolds while living with her mom, Kate Cassidy, step-father Ryan, and her father Baze. This is not just all about Lux either the adults in the show have good story lines, and very dramatic ones which is always entertaining. This show only had two seasons, and they are both up on Netflix for streaming. I like teen drama shows like this, and I like how I was caught into specific characters. Lux

I am so excited because after a long wait, The Fault in Our Stars comes out in theaters next Friday! I cannot wait to see this movie, I just know that it is going to be amazing. I love the cast and the trailers and sneak peeks have me so hyped for the film. A little back story for you is that John and Hank Green were the first YouTuber's I ever got really into. I watched other things of course but I loved that they were so goofy, and nerdy and so passionate about things. John Green is the author of "The Fault in Our Stars" and when I first read the book I cried so much it was ridiculous. John has many other books that are on my must buy and read list, and I am so looking forward to reading them soon. I love the way he writes and how he tells a story it is such a cool thing. So when I heard that the book was being turned into a movie I was so excited, and I got my sister to read the book and she fell in love with it too. Needless to say we will both be seeing this movi

So I was cleaning out some files today and I came across a mini script that I had written about a year ago for me and my friends. A lot of stuff was going on at the time so I never showed it to them, but seeing it now I think I want to revise it and go forth with it. All I need is a camera and a few of my friends and we can make this thing happen. Basically what the script is about a girl trying to figure out just how to go about being herself in a world where if you're not apart of certain groups you're a loser. It is just a very short little thing that I wrote, and I might add to it and change it around a bit, but I am excited that I found this. The things I grew up watching very much show in my writing these days, because I love the drama and romance. I mean ever since I was little I would watch soap operas with my Grandma, Mom, and my aunt. I am hoping that we can do this and get it up on YouTube just to show people a new side of my talent, as well as some of my friends

June 22nd is going to come faster than we think, and I cannot wait. There is talk about Sookie being turned into a vampire by the end of this season, and honestly it could happen. I think that there has always been that possibility especially since her first love was Bill and there has always been that question of what if? So if they did make her into a vampire I think that would be kind of awesome, and it would possibly mean a nice ending for Sookie and a certain vampire...One can hope. Do not forget to tune in for the final season starting June 22nd because it will be exciting to see how this show is going to end. What are you most looking forward to in this season? Hello everyone today I am putting out a little personal post because some good things are happening for my family, and I want to share them with you. My family has had some pretty crazy things test us these past couple years, and I will admit that I got pretty buried in fear and hopelessness. I went through hell after I lost my Grandma, and I still am some days, but I have found new fire in some of my passions. For example writing these posts for all of you who read them helps me so much, because I get to reach out to an audience of people whose interests are similar to mine. I was browsing some sites the last couple weeks and this show caught my attention and it is called Dominion and it looks pretty darn good. Click Here for a look at this show airing June 19th on SyFy. It looks pretty awesome with all the angels and other creatures that seem to be around. I do not know much about it, but I know that the cast is pretty awesome and I will be watching it when it comes out. Anthony Head is part of the cast which is awesome, so is Alan Dale, and Luke Allen-Gale. I hope that you guys check out this show, and check out the trailer in the link. I completely forgot that it was Sunday! My days  have been so thrown off and I have been catching up on things this last week and I got lost for a minute. Tonight we get to see a new episode of Game of Thrones, and after last week I cannot wait. Sansa is in a rather interesting situation yet again, and Tyrion has found his champion. That whole scene with Oberyn talking to Tyrion about seeing the "monster" was so great. I loved the way he told the story, and they way he told Cersi that all he saw was a baby not a monster. He said that sure he looked different but to him he was still a baby. You could see the look on Tyrion's face and it made me so happy when Oberyn told him he would be his champion. Hello everyone, happy Sunday! When I write a blog post, or just write anything in general I put on music as I work. I pretty much have music on if I'm walking, cleaning, reading, or almost anything and Pandora comes in so handy. I have my playlists on iTunes and what not, but sometimes it is just nice to put Pandora on and go. I have a few stations that I love listening to but I found one recently that is just perfect for me. My sister even said today while we were listening to it that it fit me so well, and I agree. The Disney station is one of the best stations I have ever listened to. I love all things Disney and the music is a big part of what I love. This station has songs from Aladdin, Pocahontas, Toy Story, Mary Poppins, Sound of Music , and so much more.  Even songs from some of my favorite bands The All American Rejects, Imagine Dragons, Fall Out Boy, Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, and Panic at the Disco. I can write while this station plays, and I can clean as it plays too.

Have not done a spotlight on anyone for a bit so today I will talk a little about John Barrowman and why I love him so much. Here we go people. John Barrowman is a Scottish actor, and he is most known for his role as Captain Jack Harkness on Doctor Who and Torchwood. He is also a really amazing singer, and TV host, and a great husband to his man Scott Gill. I have had the pleasure of seeing his panel at Comic Con last year, and it was one of the greatest things I've ever seen. It was just an hour of non-stop laughing, he is just a really down to Earth guy. He doesn't take crap or hate from anyone for who he is, or who he plays on TV. I really admire him for that and how real he is with his fans, and how much he loves and respects his fans. I first saw him as Captain Jack and his interaction with Rose, and the Doctor was so good. Game of thrones S04E06 - Tyrion's trial (Shae testimony & verdict) I want to just talk about this scene because it is one of the scenes that I have just loved in this show. Tyrion is my favorite character and when he was talking you could feel his emotion, and his anger and pain. On the Shae front when I first saw her I was happy, but then she started speaking and I was just yelling "NO!" I cannot believe she told them all this stuff, and you could see the hurt on Tyrion's face while she spoke. I mean yeah what Tyrion told her the last time they spoke was messed up, but he did it so that she would be protected, he loved her and that it so much worse. Okay all you PLL fans out there it has been a while since I put anything up about the show, but it is almost June and that means it is almost time to watch another season of craziness. What do you think is going to happen with Ali now that she has told the girls this story? Will they be any closer to really knowing who A is? Ezra seems to know but he is in the hospital because he was shot, and if he dies then that dies with him. I really hope they don't kill off Ezra, but you never know. Hopefully we find out just what Melissa was whispering to her father in the police station, and all we heard her say was that Spencer didn't kill that girl. Since a lot of shows have come to an end, or are coming to an end I have been getting ready for Summer shows to start. One of the shows I am most looking forward to to is True Blood on HBO. This series started in 2008, and it was one of my favorites because I was super into vampires. Of course I was only sixteen years old when I watched for the first time, and maybe I should have waited. I fell in love with Bill Compton the moment he walked into that bar, and stared at Sookie Stackhouse. He was so incredibly hot, and his voice just added to that fact. I was in love with Bill and then I saw Eric Northman, and then I was torn between these two men just like Sookie finds herself down the line. Sookie has been with Eric, Bill, and Alcide the hunky werewolf. I loved this show from the start, and now starting June 22nd it is coming to an end. Who is excited for this new show coming to Disney Channel? I am excited to see how it turns out, and I expect it to be good. The preview looks funny, and the intro song sounds great, and I am really looking forward to it. I am a huge fan of Boy Meets World I laughed every time I watched it, still do when I put it on. I cannot believe how last night's episode went! I mean so much happened with Booth and the way it ended leaves so much guessing for next season. I loved the episode and at the last part of the episode my heart just started beating harder, and harder as things got more intense. There was a call to Booth about the insider at the FBI, but before they could meet the man was murdered. He was very much into conspiracy theory about the FBI, and he was onto something. There is someone on the inside just like they found out when they were working the Ghost Killer case, and the whole episode Booth is trying to figure out who it is. Booth's promotion is taken right out from under him when a congressman brings up something that happened with Booth killing an American citizen. Booth is more than shocked when he hears the man's name, and  tries to get the subject dropped but he gets dismissed. The records were supposed to be sealed but these people had dirt on the congressman too, ph

I was so happy to hear that Chris Hardwick's YouTube show All Star Celebrity Bowling was going to air on AMC. I loved watching the show on YouTube and it was a unique idea, which is what we need more of on TV. It is going to be a good time, and everyone should check it out! HBO has had some really good series, and one of my absolute favorites was Entourage. A show about life in Hollywood, and about the acting business. Vincent Chase a new pretty boy actor, his washed up brother Johnny "Drama" Chase, his best friend Eric "E" Murphy, and their friend Turtle. It was a good show and entertaining to watch, and it was the first HBO series I fell in love with. When the show premiered in 2004 I was not old enough to actually watch the series, but I still hide my watching it. Kids that is no way to do things, but this day in age it is not uncommon for kids to be exposed to things like that. I have watched the whole series, and it ended in 2011 after 8 seasons of great episodes. Since its end there have been talks about a movie set for 2015, and I for one will be there to see it. My favorite character in the show was super agent Ari Gold, played by Jeremy Piven. Ari was rude and nothing was off limits for him, and his vocabulary was beyond v

Fox has a new show coming out this fall and it is the American adaption of the UK hit Broadchurch.  I thought that Broadchurch was an amazing series, and it had some really good writing on it. The Fox series will star David Tennant which I am glad about because he made the show that much better, and his acting skills amazed me. David Tennant will star along side Anna Gunn, who we remember from her role as Skylar White on Breaking Bad. I was a little put off at first because a lot of the time when shows are remade in America they are not nearly as good as the original, but the promo looks so good and the story looks the same, and I am excited for it. I am not Anna Gunn's biggest fan, but I hope that she does a good job in this role. If you are a fan of crime drama's, and David Tennant then check this show out this Fall. Thank you for reading. It has been a while since I did a post on General Hospital and I have just been catching up and re-watching the Nurse's Ball 2014. I love soap operas and GH is my all time favorite one, I have been watching since I was 5 years old. I know that sounds crazy, but yes even at that age I would sit and watch this show almost every day. It has been a crazy time in Port Charles, and as expected secrets came out at this years Nurses Ball. Patrick and Sabrina's son is in the NICU fighting for his life after the accident Sabrina had, and Emma is singing a song dedicated to them. There has been a little love triangle going on with Emma, Cameron, and Spencer and it is just adorable. Emma is the cutest little thing and it is so funny seeing Spencer and Cameron feud over her, but Emma chose Cameron in the end. Luke has been trying to get ELQ and even staged a wedding at the Nurses Ball to Tracy. After Luke groped Kiki the plans started to be put in place. I always have and always will

This is going to be a bit of a long one, but that is okay because a lot happened in this finale. I thought last nights finale was one of the best, as previous finales on Once Upon A Time the drama was high and the cliffhanger was big and exciting. Emma is going through a lot trying to tell Henry they are not staying in Storybrooke, but she hides it because she doesn't want to ruin the moment. Her little brother was going to have a coronation to announce his name to the towns people, and it is a big deal. Hook lets it slip that Emma wants to leave Storybrooke, after they were all remembering the moment Charming and Snow first met. I loved how they put everything into the story of their first meeting, but just altered it once Emma and Hook got there, and Emma changed things. Emma witnesses her mother and father meeting for the first time, but Snow spotted her and Hook so she ran off. That meant that Charming and Snow never met at that moment, and Emma had just prevented her parents

As we knew when Breaking Bad was ending, Saul Goodman was going to be getting a spin-off. The show will be on AMC, and it will be debuting in November of this year. The characters have been kept under wraps, and I am not quite sure what to expect from this show. I have high hopes for it though, and Saul was an interesting character so this will be interesting to see him before he met Walter White. Patrick Fabian, Rhea Seehorn, and Michael Mando will be joining the cast and we will have to wait and see what their characters are. Once Upon A Time has been picked up for a fourth season, and it is going to be amazing! No matter how good a show is, until it is officially announced for a new season I am always nervous. The season finale airs tomorrow, and will be two hours. We will see what happens when Emma and Hook go into the past, and what they might change. Emma is going to see her parents before they even meet, and she cannot change anything either can Hook because then that will change their futures. NBC's Hannibal has been renewed for season 3! I am very excited that NBC decided to give this show another season, because there is still a lot they could do with the series. This season has been really good with introductions to new characters, new relationships, and more Will's interesting mind. I cannot wait to see what is in store for the the rest of the season, and next season of the show. In other news Community has been canceled by NBC, and I cannot say I am surprised. The show, although hilarious had not been doing so well. The show was getting released mid-season instead of the beginning of Fall, and other shows were getting the ratings. It is sad to learn of this show being canceled because it was funny, and the cast was great. Today Hank Green's new album "Incongruent" came out and it is amazing. I bought it and I love listening to it as I write, and I spent an hour dancing to the songs this morning. The songs are catchy, and nerdy, and educational. If any of those things appeal to you then this CD is for you.

I cannot even begin to describe how much I loved last nights episode of Once Upon A Time. It had such cute moments, and a few just wow moments. I will start with Zelena in Oz. She was spying on Regina as we've seen her do before when Glinda comes to her and thanks her for taking care of the Wizard. Glinda tells her that she is meant to join their sisterhood and rule the West, but Zelena has chosen to be evil. I really liked seeing Zelena actually accepting it, and she was going to move on with everything. She was letting Regina go just like Glinda told her to do, and she was choosing to be innocent. Only when they came to the yellow brick road and Glinda was telling Zelena she had so much potential with the West, Dorthy comes into the picture. Dorthy Gale. It was pretty crazy seeing Zelena go to whatever lengths necessary to make Dorthy go away. Zelena starts to get green again becuas she is so jealous of the attention that she is getting from Glinda and the other witches. When

So apparently there is a scene out there in internet land that reveals what happens at the very end of the new episode. I have not seen it myself, and I am really glad that I didn't because from what people are saying it ruined the whole episode for them. All I know is it has to do with Regina and Zelena's fight, so it is probably the outcome of that fight. It just sucks that people do that, and there have been tweets form Adam letting everyone know it was not supposed to happen, but it did. He also says how sorry he is for it getting leaked, even though it is not his fault. So not cool person who leaked this, because that is just a jerk thing to do. I was kind of pissed by the end of Grey's last night if I'm being honest. I thought that Burke would come in and swoop Christina off her feet and want her back, but turns out he was married with kids. Good for Burke though he did want that life, but he was too consumed with his work to allow himself to have it. He tells all that to Christina, saying their love was so consuming but then he offered her his job. He didn't want her to work for him because it would destroy his marriage, but he wanted her to take over for him. At this hospital it was everything Christina wanted, it was like Burke built this place specifically for her, and now she is going to be running it. She will be doing the research she's always wanted to be doing, and she will be living in Switzerland. I really liked when Meredith was picking her up a the airport and Meredith just knew that something was up, and she said "You're leaving." I liked what else was happening in the episode,

Hello everyone happy Thursday, I hope you are all ready for Grey's tonight I know I am. We knew this season we would be saying goodbye to Christina Yang, and that she would have a happy ending off the show. I was super excited to see that Isaiah Washington was reprising his role as Dr. Preston Burke, and he just so happens to be the soul mate for Christina. Does Christina love Owen? Yes, I am sure she does but they could have never had a love like her and Burke. Christina and Burke were engaged and on the day of their wedding he left her at the alter, and it was so sad. It is still one of my favorite episodes, and the emotion that was put into was just so freaking good. I am so happy that he is going to be back because the had a great love, and Meredith and Derek are living their dream so should Christina.
