The whole story was changed because of that one moment, and it was up to Emma to fix it. She went to Rumplestiltskin for help, and the look on her face when she saw him was perfect. Emma hadn't seen him like that and she knew him as Mr. Gold the grandfather to her son, and seeing him as the dark one was just a shock. Of course Rumple tried to kill Hook because they were feuding at the time, and Rumple wanted him dead unlike in their time when Rumple stopped trying to kill him. I love seeing Robert Carlyle in the Dark One form because he just plays it so well, and his voice is perfect for it. When they go to his castle they see Belle, and of course Emma knows her in the future, but when Emma says her name all she gets is a confused look. Emma lets it slip that they fall for each other, and Rumple just scoffs at the thought. I liked that scene because it was just so funny because of how they didn't get along, and now in the future they are engaged. Rumple tells them that they have to get Snow and Charming to meet, and that there is a chance of doing that if they go to the ball that King Midas is having that night. Snow is trying to find passage out of the Enchanted Forest, and Hook sees an opportunity. This whole scene with Hook and Hook was just so hilarious. Emma and Hook find the past Hook at a bar being his cocky, charming self and Hook tells Emma to keep him occupied while he goes aboard the Jolly Roger to get Snow to steal Charming's ring and get the story back on track. Emma takes her little cape off and the corset she is wearing is quite fitting and showing off her body in all the right places, but Hook just looks at her and goes "What are you doing?" Emma replies "Keeping him occupied...Are you jealous?" I was laughing so hard because Hook was really jealous of himself, and when Emma ends up back on the ship with a drunk pirate captain, and they are making out Emma's Hook comes up and punches himself in the face. It was such a well done scene and so funny to see Hook be jealous of himself.
Snow agrees to steal the ring from Charming and goes to the castle the night of the ball. Emma and Hook are there in nice clothes, and Emma gets to go to her first royal ball. She looked beautiful in the red dress Rumplestiltskin put her, and Hook look oh so handsome in his new clothes. Once at the ball they introduce themselves as Prince Charles, and Princess Leia. I was laughing so hard at it, and when they danced the waltz it was so cute. Emma got to go to her first ball and it was with Hook, even though they were trying to get her parents to meet, it was still really sweet. Regina however shows up and Snow White is spotted in the castle, and Emma is caught for helping her. In the castle Snow and Charming have their meeting moment when she hits him in the head and then runs off, but Snow drops the ring. Then Emma is taken by the evil Queen and locked in a cell. In the cell Emma meets a woman who is going to be killed the next day, and Emma just can't leave the past alone so she has to change it yet again. There was a flashback to when Emma and Neal first met and he takes her to this amusement park after Neal picks the lock. He tells her about his father and leaving him behind, and telling her that you know when you have a home because when you're gone you miss it and that is what having a home means. It was such a sweet scene, and then Emma remembers that and picks the lock on the cell and gets out. Emma lets her new found friend out of the cell too and Hook tells her that it is a mistake but she doesn't agree. Snow goes with Charming and Hook to rescue Emma and I just thought it was amazing that Hook and Emma were apart of her parents meeting because this whole time Emma has been left out. She always says that she wasn't there and she will never know what it is like to feel like she is home, and that is why she is moving away because she doesn't want to settle until it hurts when she's gone. Snow is in the castle trying to kill Regina with the black pixie dust while Red, Charming and Hook are looking for Emma in the dungeon. Snow fails and ends up being executed by Regina right in front of Emma and everyone. Nobody really knows why Emma is taking it so hard, or Leia as they know her then. Emma saw Regina throw a fireball at her mother and kill her as far as she knew, and that was it. Once Emma had time to think about it though she realized if Snow was dead then she would be gone too, but Snow had used that dust to turn herself into a bug and fly away. Very clever Snow, and then the blue fairy came and changed her back, and Emma was so happy she hugged her. Of course Snow had no clue who she was so she was just awkward toward Emma, but Emma was so happy that he mother was back. The rest of the story was put back on track after the troll bridge, and from then on it went as it should. Emma and Hook went back to Rumple so that they could get a portal back to their time, but he couldn't do it because only the ones who went through it could re-open it. Too bad Emma lost her power, and Rumple was making a forgetting potion so he would forget them and everything they told him. He banished Emma and Hook to this room where he hid the darkest of magic that he didn't even go near, and that is where they end up. Hook and Emma have a heart to heart about where home is and how she saw nothing when she looked into her mothers eyes back there, and then the wand Rumple gave her starts to glow. Emma uses magic in order to open the portal and Hook goes through with the girl Emma got out of Regina's castle. Just as Emma was going to jump through Rumple grabs her and demands to know about his son, and if he forgives him. Emma tells him he does, but he dies, and that he needs to drink the potion because his son died a hero and he could not take that away form him. She tells him how much his son loved him, and that she loved him too, and he was a hero in the end and that is what he wanted, he died protecting those he loved most.
Emma and Hook are back in Storybrooke and they have not been gone long, but Emma rushes to her parents and hugs them. She tells them that she is home and calls them Mom and Dad, and tells them about her journey in the Enchanted Forest. They look in Henry's book and see that her and Hook dancing at the ball made it into the book and it was so cute to see that. We get to see Rumple and Belle get married, they get married in the woods by the well, and Archie marries them, and Belle's father is there to witness it. It was a sweet ceremony and the vows were perfect and as they were saying the vows we see Charming and Snow with their son, Regina and Robin with Roland, and Hook and Emma making out happily. Emma and Hook talk outside of Granny's and she asks him how he found her in the first place, and he tells her that he used a magic bean he got by trading his ship for one. Hook traded his beloved ship for Emma, and then she kissed him and I think in that moment knew that this man in front of her would do anything and everything for her. Snow and David named their baby after Neal and when they were saying it I was crying because it was such a tear jerking moment. When David said meet our son Prince Neal, and the look on Rumple's face was just over kill for me and I loved it. The woman Emma and Hook brought back was at Granny's and when Regina came in she was terrified, but Emma told her it was okay that she had changed. Emma brings the girl over to Regina and then you hear Robin say "Marian" at that moment I was yelling "NO! WHY!" Emma saved Robin Hoods woman and now Regina has lost two loves of her life to the same gene pool. First Snow and now her daughter messed up her relationship! I feel so bad for Regina, but I really hope for the best because Regina and Robin were so cute together. Now at the end of the two hours it goes back to the barn where Zelena's portal was. You see a urn type thing that was in Rumple's locked room a extremely dangerous magic laying there. Then it opens and there is this blue liquid everywhere, and a woman forms in a beautiful blue dress and dark blue cape, and white hair in a braid draped around her front... Who does that sound like? Oh I might add that she takes her glove off and uses some pretty awesome ice magic on the ground. That's right Oncer's, Once is doing Frozen! I cannot wait to see where the story goes, is Elsa going to be a villain? That would be so amazing, and I know they will do a good job with that after all look what they did with Peter Pan. I am so excited, and good job to everyone on the show, it was one hell of a season!
