I was late to the game with The Blacklist. I have just started watching this show on Netflix, and it is amazing. James Spader is such a badass and I just love him to bits in this show. He plays Raymond "Red" Reddington, which is a really cool name, and he is basically a super criminal. He is obsessed with Elizabeth Keen, and it is an interesting story. There are many fan theories of who he really is to her, and why he decided to come and help the FBI.
I am so glad this was put up on Netflix because it is one of the best shows. It has suspense and drama that keeps me on the edge of my seat with every episode. I got hooked from episode one because I just needed to know more and more of why Red turned himself in. That opening scene when he just walks into the FBI, and gives security his passport with his name on it, walks to the middle of the room on the seal, and takes his jacket off, his hat, and just as the alarms go off he's on his knees with his hands behind his head. That scene is what had me. I think James Spader is perfect for this role because of the sarcastic remarks that come out of his mouth. Everything is so well timed with him, and makes you laugh every once in a while.
I am only in the middle of episode eight, but I am going to watch this all till I finish season one. I will occasionally be putting up posts on this so you might see some more of that. I want to thank you all for reading my posts, and sorry for this one being so late. It has been a busy couple of days, but things are on the up and up now and I was so happy today. So thank you for sticking with me on this.
Keep Dreaming and Scheming!
