One Last Trip To Pawnee

Back in 2009 I saw promo for this show where public officials try their best to make their little town a better place. It was a group of people with such different personalities coming together to make something great. That is exactly what this show was something amazingly great that makes you smile every time you watch it.

I have been a fan of Parks and Recreation from the start, and the finale was very well done. The final season we saw a time jump to 2017 and it worked so well. In the series finale however we saw where each one of our favorite characters ended up in the future. It was so fun to see where the group had ended up.

Let's start with April and Andy. These two made me laugh so much through out the years because of Andy's antics and Aprils general disgust for everything. They were so cute together and loved each other so much it was just so nice to see them together. In the future they are contemplating having kids, Andy really wants them but April isn't sure. Then a year after they talk to Ben and Leslie about having kids on Halloween Andy and April have a little boy named Jack. It was super adorable to see and they had their moment and it was just perfect for their story.

Ron had left the company we saw that he started in this season called Very Good. He then goes to Leslie for help because he knew that out of anyone she would be able to help figure out where he need to go next. Leslie did come through like always and made him in charge of the Pawnee National Park. That is such a perfect job for Ron because nothing has to change which he likes, and he gets to be outside in nature all day long.

Gary had been made Mayor temporarily and in the future he was actually really elected into office. As time went on for Gary he just kept being made Mayor of Pawnee over and over again. It was all typical Gary being Gary, and he lived to be 100 years old. He died in his sleep on his 100th birthday and it was like there couldn't be an aw moment for Gary because they spelled his name wrong on his tombstone. Leslie tells Ben that it is close enough and then they leave. To be honest I laughed really hard at that because well it was Gary.

Tom had made a franchise out of his restaurant Tom's Bistro, but it went south. He ended up losing most of his money, and being humiliated. He even made a documentary on how he failed and watched it over and over again. Eventually he wrote a book on his failures and it was a best seller and he was back on top. He was talking about how you could be a Leslie, a Ben, a Donna, a Tom, an April, or an Andy in life. Which was so touching and then more hilarity when he says the one thing you do not want to turn out to be ever is a Gary. Oh man so many wonderful years of jokes about Gary.

Donna is happily married to Joe, and living in Seattle. She is a real estate agent and making awesome money and they go on wonderfully expensive trips and do fun adventures. Donna ends up opening a non-profit organization to help with after school activities since lots of things were being cut. It was something amazing because Donna was such an awesome character, and I loved her so much. She was so funny and some days I just got to tell myself to live like Donna.

We even had a little look into what was going on in Craig's future. At Tom's restaurant one night he was given a card and a drink by Typhoon the hair dresser. He ends up marrying him and they celebrate years together, and we still saw that Craig's temper was as lose as ever.

Leslie and Ben have had a very successful life together both in career and in their home life. They were both approached about being Governor of Indiana. They both think of the pros and cons which are exactly the same for both of them. Ben and Leslie go to Pawnee once again and they go to the old Parks Department and Ben has arranged for the whole gang to be there. So everyone was together again for a little party right where they all became friends. Leslie was so happy and my favorite moment of the night went to when Ben reveals that Ann and Chris came along too. That was so great because Ann and Leslie remind me of my friendship with my best friend sometimes, and it is hilarious. They all gathered there with their kids and we find out that April is pregnant with their second child. Ann and Leslie get excited when their kids are sitting together and being flirty with each other. It was so great to see them all there in the future still being their usual selves.

This show has been amazing from the start and it ended on a high note. I loved it so much and I will always love this show. It was such an amazing comedy and I always looked forward to new episodes. I am super sad that it is over, but I am so glad that it ended in good way. Thank you so much for reading and if you have not watched this show yet I suggest you do.

Where Have I Been??

Hello readers. I have taken about a year away from writing on this blog and it has been a very interesting experience. I have gotten a new job which has consumed quite a bit of time, and I have started a new relationship which takes up the other half of my time. I do miss writing though about different shows and I cannot wait to get back into this. I am going to make this a part of my routine and try to get at least a few posts out a week.  I am super excited to talk the final season of Scandal and of course Grey's Anatomy. There are also some cool shows on Netflix that I have been waiting to discuss, and cannot wait. I hope that people will read the new stuff I am writing and enjoy it just as before.  Thank you all and remember...  ~Keep Dreaming and Scheming~

Ship of the Week: Jack Harkness and Ianto Jones

Those of you who have been following me for a while will know that I am totally in love with the love between Jack and Ianto. Their ship name being Janto is adorable, and the way they look together just makes me smile with joy. Of course that joy is overtaken with sadness when something terrible happens, and my smile is traded for tears. Captain Jack Harkness is not gay or bi he simply likes everyone. If the person or even robot is attractive is up for it. Jack is a huge flirt and very open about what he likes, and his charm makes him pretty irresistible. When we meet Jack he is charming Rose and just the introduction of his name is all it takes to make some swoon. Ianto was introduced in Torchwood the spin off series to Doctor Who . Ianto was referred to as coffee boy and I was super in love with him. Then I saw him with Jack and that was that. The first moment when they got close to each other's face and I was pretty much screaming into my pillow. The two had such an ador
