My Buffy the Vampire Slayer OTP?

I have been hearing a lot of people talking about their OTP's as of late and I have decided that I will talk about the shows where I have an OTP. It is sometimes very hard to pick just one couple that I love above all others. However there are shows where I have just one, and won't change no matter what. Today the featured show is Buffy the Vampire Slayer.  Ever since I saw his face in the episode 'School Hard' and heard his banter with Buffy that I wanted them together. Spike and Buffy are my OTP in this show, no matter how much she loved Angel or Riley for me it was always Spike. He did so much for her, he chose to get his soul for her and he took care of her sister when she died. I love the moments they share in season 7 because Spike has his soul, no chip, and is amazed by the way Buffy is treating him. The moment when he tells her she is the one, and everything I cried. It had more than just the meaning of her being the chosen one, but she was also the one for ...

Person of the Day: James Marsters

I don't believe that I have just did a post on James Marsters, and if I did well here is another one. I am still so in love with this man for what he has done, and is currently doing. He is a great actor, and singer at that. James Marsters is 51, birthday August 20 and he is married, and has a teenage son. His son Sullivan Marsters is also in his band Ghost of the Robot. James is most popular for his role as Spike on Buffy the Vampire Slayer, and Angel. I first saw him on Buffy in season 2 "I Only Have Eyes For You" and I was watching it because Christopher Ghoram (Covert Affairs, Ugly Betty) was in that episode. Once I saw Spike I went onto Google and looked him up and I was obsessed. I binge watched the whole series of Buffy and fell in love with the whole thing, fell in love with the show, the actors, and Joss Whedon even more of course. I then went on to watch other movies and shows James had been in, and they were good with the exception of the Drangonball movie....

Remember Buffy the Vampire Slayer

I know that I may have put up a post on this already in a previous Sunday post, but I had just recently finished re-watching the series again so I was thinking about it. I always thought it was interesting how much of a success this show was after the movie was such a terrible mess, and when it came out people were not quite convinced it was going to make it. A lot of people could not believe that it lasted seven successful seasons, and they were some really beyond amazing episodes. Just like with any show you develop a strong feeling for some characters, but the problem with that fondness with a show by Joss Whedon is that, the character you have this fondness for will probably die. The show continued on after the series in the form of comic books, and they are quite good to read if you that is what you are into. I have thought about what my favorite episode is but I cannot really chose, because there were just so many. One of my favorites would have to be "Hush" which w...

Ship of the Day Spuffy

My ship for today is Spike the sexy bleach blonde vampire, and Buffy the beautiful slayer. When I first started watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer I instantly fell in love with Spike. He was gorgeous, funny, sexy, and British. The first episode I ever saw was "Only Have Eyes For You" in season two, and seeing him and hearing his voice just sucked me in. The relationship between Buffy and Spike from the beginning was to kill each other, but then Spike's views sort of shifted a bit. He thought that he was having these feelings because of this chip that was placed in his head, but he really did start to care for the slayer. We caught our first glimpse into Spuffy in the episode "Something Blue" which was in season 4 of the series. Willow is feeling hurt so she casts a spell to have her will done, and things she says are coming true. When Willow is ranting to Xander she tells him "If Buffy cares about Spike so much, why doesn't she just marry him then?...

Remember "Buffy the Vampire Slayer"

Happy Sunday everyone! Today we remember the hit cult show Buffy the Vampir e Slayer created by Joss Whedon. A show about a young woman in high school who finds out that she is the chosen one. She has the reaponsiblity to save the world from all the vampires and demons threatening the humans. Sarah Michelle Geller played Buffy Summers and she played the part amazingly., as did the rest of this cast. There was a sweet love story between the slayer and her vampire boyfriend Angel. Angel was a vampire with a soul, and if he had a moment of true happiness it would go away. At this point Angel wants to keep his soul because he is in love with Buffy, and he does not want to hurt her. The curse does end up breaking when he and Buffy sleep together. Angelus is his name and he is so evil that he tries to bring on the apocalypse, but fails when Buffy kills him. It was all very sad, but he came back only to leave again so that sucked. My favorite episode was "Once More With Feeling" t...
