Marvel is one of my favorite things on this Earth right next to Doctor Who. As most of you know or can tell by my blogs is that I absolutely love David Tennant, and I just read some wonderful news. David Tennant will be playing a super villain in Marvels new Jessica Jones series coming to Netflix. Now even though I have no idea when this will hit Netflix I think it might come out around the time Daredevil comes to Netflix. I for one cannot wait for either of these series to come out. David will be playing Zebediah Killgrave or The Purple Man which is his nickname. To give a quick little back story for you all, Killgrave was exposed to some experimental gas that basically gave him the ability to control people's minds. The other side effect was that it turned his skin color purple, hence the nickname. I mean I am sitting here picturing David Tennant's hair being purple. As most people know David Tennant came into my life when he took the role as the Doctor on Doctor Who. He is my favorite Doctor and my first. He is super sexy, smart, funny, adorable, and just pleasant to watch. He won the NTA Special Reccongition award, and was actually surprised with the win. He wasn't told about it, and his face seeing all these amazing people talk about him and how much he deserved it was amazing. His father was among them, and so was Cathrine Tate, Stephen Fry, and Billie Piper. I loved it so much and his speech was very, very nice. I realize this is a little late, but I have just caught up on this week of shows. Next up on my list is Fox's new mystery series Gracepoint . This show stars Anna Gunn and David Tennant. David stared in the UK version called Broadchurch as the same role. I was pleasantly surprised with this adaptation because usually I don't like US remakes of UK shows. This one was not so bad and Anna Gunn did a good job as Ellie Miller so that made me happy. The show is about a small town that has never had anything really bad happen in it go through the horrible experience of finding a murderer of a young boy. Danny was the name of the boy who was killed and the person who killed him tried to make it look like an accident. This story was really great and in the UK version I did was shocked and surprised in each episode. I am sure the story is the same as the UK version because this first episode was just like the first episode of Broadchurch. If that is the case then you are all in for o...

Even though Gracepoint does not start until October 2nd, but I still must talk about it more. There have been shows that were remade in America, and turned out terrible. British TV shows are some of my favorite things to watch because it is so smartly done. When good shows, Skins for example are remade in America it may be the same story lines, but it is just no good. The acting is just off, and with Skins it seemed nastier than the British version. It is the same vulgar language, and sexual situations as the original but it was just not done well. I am hoping that Gracepoint will be one of the rare shows that is remade, and actually good. I am glad David Tennant is still playing the leading male character because I cannot see anyone else playing that role. The Politician's Husband is a show about Aiden Hoynes who is a politician that has resigned from the cabinet, but gets screwed over by his best friend. It was really messed up but it makes for great political drama, and therefore great entertainment for me. Aiden's wife is also in politics, but when her career is starting to overshadow his it becomes a problem. They have two young children and the son Noah has Aspergers, and Aiden doesn't really have a close relationship with him. He is scared and doesn't think he can reach him like his father did with him. So on top of all the political stuff there is some good ol' family drama thrown in as well. I thought the first episode was great and it sucked me in within the first five minutes. David Tennant looks so good in this series his hair just looks so good on him. He looks very good in this politician look, and I love seeing in dressed all nice, and I really love his hair. Whovians it is getting closer and closer, but I wish the day would just get here already. I have heard that the first episode is going to be having a special event in theaters. This excites me and I really hope that it comes to a theater near me. It is going to be so amazing seeing Peter Capaldi as the Doctor, and I know I say it time and time again, but he is one of my favorite actors, and to see him take on the Doctor is so exciting. Do not forget that August 23 is the premiere of Doctor Who and it is going to be amazing. I have also started watching The Politician's Husband staring David Tennant, and it is so good. It is a political drama mini-series. It has three episodes on Netflix, and I have completed the first episode. It was so good, and I highly recommend this show for you DT fans! Thank you for reading. Hello Whovians! 29 more days till Doctor Who now who is excited? I know I am, but before we get to that day let's talk about the one who got us sucked in. For me that would be David Tennant, he is the Doctor that I fell in love with and wanted to see more of. David Tennant is the Tenth Doctor and he was the one for me that will forever in my heart. If I was a Time Lord then I would just have a heart for both him and Matt Smith, but sadly I am not Time Lord. I was watching "The Impossible Planet" and I was just thinking how cute he was in that space suit. One of my favorite episodes is "Midnight" because I now always get creeped out when people start to mimic me. You never forget your first Doctor, and that is a great thing because they open your world to so many things. I always sound crazy when I talk about it like that to certain people, but the truth is that Doctor Who can open your mind. It gives kids imagination, and even feed adults imaginations and ...

Matt Smith is the 11th Doctor and when I first saw him I went through the normal emotions. Nobody was ever going to replace David, nobody would be better, especially this awkward looking guy, why him? It was a crazy emotional time, I cried when Ten regenerated and I did not want to accept that he was gone. I however fell in love with Matt in the "The Eleventh Hour"  and was like "okay not so bad." Of course as time went on I just loved his Doctor and now I am sad that he is gone, but I am going through the motions again with Capaldi. I think this will happen with any future Doctor because you get attached and then they leave and you get sad. I was super attached to David Tennant though because he is my first love, and my first Doctor so that is that. Thank you for reading, and sorry for this post going up so late. I have not done a ship of the day in a while so I thought that I would do one for you all now. In order to prepare you for what is to come the following month with all the Doctor Who related post I decided today's couple is Rose Tyler and The Doctor. We first met Rose Tyler when Christopher Eccelston was portraying the 9th Doctor and could not deny the cute little thing going on between them. The Doctor is just so amazing because here is this good looking guy coming in a blue box to take you all over time and space. How can you turn that down? Rose wanted more and The Doctor offered her more, so she took it and left everything behind. I liked the chemistry between Rose and Nine, but it was when I saw Ten and Rose together that I just fell in love with their relationship. It was never actually said that they were more than just Doctor and Companion, but Rose was different from the others. She was mentioned a lot more through out the series even with Matt Smith, and that always...

Fox has a new show coming out this fall and it is the American adaption of the UK hit Broadchurch.  I thought that Broadchurch was an amazing series, and it had some really good writing on it. The Fox series will star David Tennant which I am glad about because he made the show that much better, and his acting skills amazed me. David Tennant will star along side Anna Gunn, who we remember from her role as Skylar White on Breaking Bad. I was a little put off at first because a lot of the time when shows are remade in America they are not nearly as good as the original, but the promo looks so good and the story looks the same, and I am excited for it. I am not Anna Gunn's biggest fan, but I hope that she does a good job in this role. If you are a fan of crime drama's, and David Tennant then check this show out this Fall. Thank you for reading. Today is David Tennant's 43rd birthday! My favorite Doctor was the role that David did and I love his other works too. He is a super cool guy, and a super awesome actor. So Happy Birthday David and I hope to see more of you on my screen for a while longer. So in honor of him lets watch some movies and shows with this cool guy.
