Gracepoint After Thoughts

I realize this is a little late, but I have just caught up on this week of shows. Next up on my list is Fox's new mystery series Gracepoint. This show stars Anna Gunn and David Tennant. David stared in the UK version called Broadchurch as the same role. I was pleasantly surprised with this adaptation because usually I don't like US remakes of UK shows. This one was not so bad and Anna Gunn did a good job as Ellie Miller so that made me happy.

The show is about a small town that has never had anything really bad happen in it go through the horrible experience of finding a murderer of a young boy. Danny was the name of the boy who was killed and the person who killed him tried to make it look like an accident. This story was really great and in the UK version I did was shocked and surprised in each episode. I am sure the story is the same as the UK version because this first episode was just like the first episode of Broadchurch. If that is the case then you are all in for one hell of a season.

Eric Northman and Sookie Stackhouse

Hello world, today the ship is going to be Eric Northman and Sookie Stackhouse from True Blood. Ever since the first season I had liked Eric more than Bill, and I thought his moments with Sookie were so real. Does that make sense? A lot has happened over the years, but when Eric and Sookie were finally a thing, or as close to a thing as they can get I was so happy. Of course it doesn't last long because it is always that never ending 'which man to choose' battle going on in her head. I am still holding out for a bit of hope that they end up together, but probably not. Especially with recent events leaving Eric to catch the sunlight, and since Warlowe is dead the blood that was taken from him is also done for. So Eric is off in another place alone when he comes out butt naked, and sits to read in the sunlight. Ship of the Week? Lizzington

Hello all and welcome to another Ship of the Week. Today we have the concierge of crime Raymond Reddington and FBI agent Elizabeth Keen. In the beginning it sort of seems like they are making it out like Red is Liz's father, but there I can see something else being there too. Especially in recent episode when she has a dream of Red asking her who she really wants, and he is totally checking out her bare legs, as she lay on that bed in that hotel room. Red is such a badass criminal and what makes him even more loveable is the fact that he has emotional damage that drive him to do what he does. He has lost so much, but he also loves a great deal and is very loyal, and expects loyalty in return. I love that about this character and think that James Spader plays Raymond Reddington perfectly.
