Ship of the Week: Kevin Ryan & Alexis Castle

I have been watching a ton of Castle lately, and reading a ton of fan fiction. I was looking for something new and stumbled upon Ryan and Alexis stories. At first I was shocked that there were so many, but then so glad there was. I had never really even thought of the two together, but reading the stories I just fell in love with them. One story in particular I am really loving right now and it's called "Finding Their Way Home" by Lori2279. It's a great read and I am waiting for the next chapter bececause it keeps you wanting more after each chapter. If you want to read it I suggest you go check it out, because it is really good. I will absolutely be reading more and more fan fiction's about these two, and now am in love with their ship. Plus who wouldn't be totally in lvoe with Kevin Ryan? He is so cute and adorable you just want to hug him. Thank you for reading and waiting for a post to go up. I cannot believe I have taken so much time away from my ...

Caskett Tied the Knot!

I know I should probably recap the whole episode, but I am just going to focus on the love between my OTP right here. I have always been a Caskett shipper from the beginning, and now they are married and they are so cute. It was somewhat like the same feeling when Booth and Brennan finally got married on Bones, and now another one of my OTP's have gotten hitched. Castle was in this alternate universe where he and Beckett had never met. Beckett was the Captain, and never got close to her mother's murder. She was totally different and so was Castle. He never wrote Nikki Heat, and he ended up publishing that crappy book and killing Derek Storm. He was thinking if being with Beckett was really right for her, because he couldn't remember the last two months of his life and that was putting its toll on Kate. That is how he ends up in the other world where he and Beckett never even met. When he is back in his world and see's Kate it is so adorable. Back at the precinct h...

Is Castle a Bad Guy?

The season premiere of Castle season 7 was pretty darn awesome. I will admit that I was a bit confused but quickly caught on to what was happening. Last season we saw Beckett arriving to the scene of a crash, and the car that her fiance was in all in flames. She rushes down there to see if he is in there, but it is too hot obviously to go near. When the firemen get the fire out she sees that there is nobody in the car. They search everywhere for Castle but no such luck. They come across an SUV that was being crushed to hide evidence. The man who made cars disappear knew Castle and therefore was brought in for questioning. He tells them the location of the money drop off site, but when they see the man doing the drop they are all shocked. I was shocked because the man dropping off the money was Castle. Now it seems like he may have faked his disappearance, and they need to know why. Castle ends up being gone for two months, and the more Beckett finds the more she believes that he ...

Returning Shows I'm Jazzed For

My previous post was about three new shows that I was looking forward too, now we have three returning shows that I cannot wait for. Let's start the countdown from three shall we? #3: I am looking forward to Bones. This show comes back with Booth in prison, and his wife working hard to get his name cleared. Booth and Brennan get a new home which looks beautiful from the pictures. Booth has some very sexy facial hair in the premiere, and I just think he looks amazing. He is a good looking man, but with facial hair it makes him so much hotter. This season is going to contain the 200th episode of the series, and it is sure to be a good time. Could we possibly get to know what Angela's real name is this season? I hope so because I want to know so bad what it is. The season premiere is this Thursday Sept. 25 on FOX. Don't miss out on this everyone, it is going to make you crazy. #2: Next up we've got season 7 of Castle. Last season I was so happy that Castle and Beck...

Let's Talk Castle

It seems as if my favorite shows just stepped it up last season. Castle is one of those shows, and I had kind of stopped watching regularly because for me it just lacked something. I was so happy that Rick and Kate were engaged because I've loved them since the first episode. Although I had a feeling when the episode started that something would go wrong and they wouldn't get married. That whole scene when Rick is talking to Kate saying he is on his way, I just knew something bad was going to happen. For me Castle really stepped it up in this season, and even more so in this episode. Rick and Kate getting engaged was a huge leap on Kate's part. Rick is a marriage guy. He knows what he wants and goes after it, and commits to it. Who has taken him? That is the question now, and it is one I have no clue to. Is it related to the recent case? Is it Rick's Dad? Or is is someone who was involved in Beckett's mother's murder? Who knows, it could be someone completel...

Late Night Chat!

These past few days have been really stressful and busy for me, and I apologize for that. I have also had no time to catch up on shows like I wanted to, but hopefully this weekend I will get that chance. I just saw the other day that they put Californication on Netflix, and I am so happy about it. I love this show, and I don't have any other reason why than David Duchovny. I love him so much and him in this show as Hank just makes me laugh. It is not a show for young audiences what so ever, so no kids watch this show, but if you are eighteen and up go for it. It is funny and unique in its one weird way. I have been neglecting General Hospital and it sucks because I am now so behind. I have not watched since Maxie's wedding when she and Lulu get kidnapped. Jason is waking up which is great, but sad because it is not Steve Burton. I grew up with Steve Burton playing Jason Morgan and it is not going to be the same without him. I am interested in where the story will go now tha...

Castle "Deep Cover" After Thoughts

Last nights episode of Castle was one of those episodes that made me fall in love with the show, and the characters all over again. Castle and Beckett are working a case which lead them to Anderson Cross aka Castle's father. The last time Rick saw his father was in Paris when Alexis was kidnapped, and he was told that he was never to mention him to anyone because it would be dangerous. Rick believed that he was still working in the CIA, and as we found out in this episode that was not the case. His father was working outside the CIA, and poor Rick didn't know what to think or believe. He says to Beckett that he keeps mistaking him for family but that he isn't and she is, that is when the tells her September is when they will get married. Rick says screw his book tour, they are getting married in September. I thought that was kind of cute, I just love Beckett and Castle as a couple they are so adorable. Castle's father tells him to text him if he needs to meet with hi...

Castle Quick Post

This is an immediate reaction to tonight's episode of Castle . It was so emotional tonight guys, and I will admit that I cried when Ryan saw his baby for the first time. This episode was intense and had a lot of great moments. Ryan and Espisito caught in a building, and then almost dying! That was insane and there was just a wave of emotion that hit when you heard Kevin saying he wants to name his first born son Javier. The hilarious touch to the show still very present even in that intense moment, Espo says "Javier...You want to name a white Irish kid Javier." From the start I sort of figured it was an inside job, only because it usually is. The victim turned out to be apart of the FDNY and was chasing this arsonist for five years. It was a good story but toward the middle when you find out that he spent time in the buildings so much before he burned them, I thought that it would be suspicious unless it was his job to be doing stuff like that. This episode just felt ...

Ship Day Caskett

Today the ship just had to be Caskett, the relationship between Rick Castle and Kate Beckett is one of the bests. It was a very interesting start him being a writer who decided that she was his muse, and had to shadow her on cases. Their banter between each other is what made fans go crazy, and want their ship to be cannon. When these two finally got together and when Kate finally realized her feelings for Castle I thought that was one of the best days ever. While hanging off the side of a building in danger of losing her life because she couldn't let go of her mother's case, the only name she could say was "Castle." My breath got caught in my throat because I thought he had come to save her, but it was Ryan. Castle told her that he was done and that he meant it that time, so when he didn't show up she really knew he was serious. She realized that she could not string him along any longer. She went to his place and they shared what I thought was one of the best ...

Castle "The Good, the Bad, & the Baby" After Thoughts

An adorable baby tagging along with Castle and Beckett just made me have so many feels about a future baby for the couple. A man named Cameron was found murdered in a Church with a baby with him, and this whole episode all I can focus on is the cuteness that the baby is bringing to this episode. Castle ends up going and buying all this baby stuff even gets him a little turkey outfit, and he gives him the name Cosmo because that is what he was going to name Alexis if she was a boy. Beckett and Castle are spending their first Thanksgiving together and it is quite funny because Castle's family dresses up in costume for Thanksgiving. Beckett is going along with a lot of these traditions because of just how much she loves Castle, and I think that is really sweet. While the case goes on there is nobody to care for the baby, and Castle has started to get very attached to little Cosmo. When Child Services shows up there is not much they can do because a lot of places are full, and there ...

Castle 'Murder is Forever' After Thoughts

I can tell you right now that there is just going to be a lot of gushing about Rick and Kate as a couple, and I am sorry for not the full report on this episode. Beckett has her eyes glued to a lion picture Castle has in his bedroom, and his name is Linus but it really freaks her out. Castle doesn't want to get rid of it so she just tells him she will sleep at her place, and even if they are arguing it is adorable. I always liked how they would be having little arguments while walking to their crime scene, it adds a touch of comedy to the show. A woman is murdered and she was a relationship adviser, but she was seen as a therapist. Well that was a lie wasn't it? Well a guy who is known for hiding the dirt on the rich and famous, is found shredding a picture of the victim, and was in her building the day she was murdered. The only problem is that nothing ever sticks on him, and that is accurate because there is no evidence against him. All this kind of starts to make sense w...

Castle "Get A Clue" After Thoughts

Oh Richard Castle. That was my first thought while watching the beginning of this episode, when him and Martha went to dinner at Alexis' new apartment. Castle just could not help himself when it came to making fun of her boyfriend. I think they are actually kind of cute together, but Castle has no interest in dealing with their relationship. There are lots of weird things going on in this episode that are very interesting. There is talks of a cult, and all this Da Vinci code type stuff going on. As usual with types of cases like this Castle gets very excited, and when the murder weapon is identified as a sword . Clues take them to a monk that they thought was the killer, and so they go to a Church . The Church leads Castle into a sword fight with a man who was believed to be the killer, but then they find out that this whole thing was all just a game. Historical buildings were being torn down all the time, and the historical society came up with this game where contestants went...

Castle "Time Will Tell"

This episode makes me want to watch some science fiction, and makes it really cool that Nathan Fillion is still till this day Captain Malcolm Reynolds to many of us. I thought that there were some lacking points in the episode, like the whole Alexis moving in with Pi thing but that is just me. I guess everyone has to have those bumps in the road where they make their mistakes, she is in college after all. All this future stuff was just the mind of a man who was in a psychiatric facility, and he was next to the man who was involved, and that was the connection made. I thought that this was a good episode, but I don't know how to explain it. Do you ever just get that feeling where you like the episode but you just aren't sure if you really liked it as a whole? That is how I feel about this one. Castle is trying to grasp to the fact that Alexis is not a little girl anymore, and she is going to make her own choices even if they are mistakes. Kate points out that she is trying...
