Well everyone we saw the gang back in Storybrooke, as you see in this picture Rumple is reunited with his true love Belle. It was one hell of an episode I can tell you that much. For those of you who did not watch the episode yet, you should watch it instead of just reading about it on the internet. This episode just took a couple turns that I did not expect from the start of it.
The big thing that I did not expect was the death of the Blue Fairy. Yes that's right I said the death of the Blue Fairy. Pan had summoned his shadow as a plan to get Regina to take him to her vault, and it worked like a charm. Blue was being attacked by the shadow and then it ripped out her shadow and killed her, just as Emma, David and everyone got there. I never realized just how close everything in Storybrooke was, because they were by Granny's when they heard her scream.
The Father Daughter moment between David and Emma last night was just priceless. It was sweet, thoughtful, and funny. David is a great father and it really showed when he was talking to Emma about finding the good moments, instead of looking for the bad ones. Neal had asked her out on a date, but she didn't feel like she should do it. Her parents swoop in and tell her that she owes it to herself to see how things with Neal play out. I think that Emma is going to have a lot of change coming up so she needs to pick a man, that is the least of her issues. I mean did you see poor Hook, he looked so sad trying to hit on Tink. He wants to forget about his feelings for Emma, and make her a bit jealous too. It sort of works when she sees the two of them walking out of Granny's together, and while Tink denies it, Hook says they were up to something. I really hate that it is between two guys I really like, because they are both cute with Emma. Emma stood Neal up the next day, and that is when David goes and gives her a little talk. The funniest bit about that talk is when she asks David if this is the only reason he was doing this, and he asks what other reason? "To keep me away from Hook." Is Emma's reply so David quips back "You think I'm interested in Hook? Emma I'm a married man." I seriously could not stop laughing, that is a huge reason why I like this show the light moments in the crazy intense moments.
In a flashback it is right after Regina threatens Snow and Charming at their wedding, and Snow tries to find a way to get rid of her for good. Turns out Snow heard legends of Medusa and that she could turn people into stone with one look in her eyes. So Snow gets Charming to take her to her Summer Palace, and it is nearby to Medusa. Charming takes the hint that something is up so when Snow goes off to find the beast, Charming is standing there waiting for her. It was really cute actually, and then they go off together. Bad things just always happen to David, because he gets turned to stone, and then Regina shows up through a looking glass. She tells Snow that she ruined her happiness for her, and Regina didn't have to do a darn thing. Snow starts to feel a bit foolish because she put so much work into stopping Regina, she lost Charming. Snow uses a reflective surface of a shield to turn Medusa into stone herself therefore freeing Charming. That night they are talking about everything, and Snow tells David that she wants to start a family right away. She wants to start a family because no matter what there will always be some sort of evil threatening their lives, and they want to have their happy moments. It was the same sort of deal that was happening with Emma, she is just like her mother.
Speaking of deals, Rumple delivered the dream shade cure to David as promised. Also as promised he did not want anything in return but he did throw in the "we're family now, if I ever should need a favor I'm sure you'll be more than willing" line and it got a laugh out of David. Rumple was reunited with his love, and that moment was so cute just seeing them hug. Neal comes over and is hugging his father, and they look like quite the little family there. The scene where Belle is fixing Gold's tie and they share a sweet kiss, all of that is just an adorable romance. Rumple locked Pandora's box away with a spell only he can break, and so Pan who is in Henry's body is thrilled.
That is another thing to mention, with Pan manipulating Regina making her think Henry is choosing her over Emma. That was just such a low blow, because all Regina loves and cares about is Henry. Pan knew just what strings to pull on Regina, and they all worked well enough that when they were in her vault he knocked her out with a powder. Poor Regina I felt so bad for her in this one because the look on her face when Henry wanted to go with her just killed me, Lana Parrilla did an amazing job yet again. When the shadow gets lose they talk Gold into letting them release Pan from the box. They still don't know it is Henry, but Emma knows something is not right with her son. I hate to say if but a reason she knows that is because of how much he wants to be near Regina. The go to the town line to release him because they think it is Pan and if it is then they need to make sure he has no magic. When that happens and they release him, Henry looks at Emma and says "mom." Gold tells them not to believe a word he says, but then Emma asks when was the first moment they connected, because that is something only Henry could know. He answered "At my castle after you got to Storybrooke. I said I know why you gave me up." Emma asks what she told him and he reply's with a smile "to give me my best chance." When Emma dropped her gun and hugged Henry I was so emotional. Robbie Kay did a fantastic job playing the role of Henry for those scenes, and Jared Gilmore did a great job being the sadistic Peter Pan. There was one scene where they were going to capture Pan at Regina's vault and Henry tells Gold "Remember Pan is in my body so if you want to throw a fire ball at him, just avoid the face." I laughed at that line because Henry has gotten quite funny, and he is joking around with his Grandpa. When they wake up Regina they tell her what happened, and she fell so dumb and said she was stupid for thinking he still needed her as a mother. Then if that wasn't enough Henry comes in and tells her "I still do" and hugs her tightly. I am tearing up again just typing this post, well it is almost over. Gold is seeing what Pan could have taken and all you hear him ask Regina is "Tell me you didn't keep it in here." He is talking about the curse that brought them all to Storybrooke. Pan wants it so that he can erase everyone's memories, and take over the town to make it the new Neverland. Pan is so evil I love it, and next week is the mid season finale, which is going to be intense. Henry and Pan switch back, and there is a curse threatening to send them all back to where they came from, you catch a look at the new villain, and in the promo you see a very flirtatious stare between Hook and Emma. So remember to tune in next week Dec.15, and thank you for reading.
