I am a Bones fan, but recently the episodes have been disappointing me. Last week when they came back with back to back episodes I thought that was going to be awesome, but the episodes were only okay. I honestly cannot even remember all of what happened in the second hour episode.
Tonight however was what I have been missing from the show, a good chase and mind mystery. The Hacker is such a great foe because he's so creepy and has no boundaries what so ever that he just does whatever he wants. He drugged Hodgins and Angela so that he could put a dead body in the canopy of their bed, and went into their sons room and put rose petals around the crib. I liked seeing Flynn again because I thought we would see some more shifty moves from him. He was a little off just coming out of the blue and insisting on working the case with Booth. Sweets tried to be there for Hodgins, but that did not go over so well because Hodgins is well Hodgins and some psycho threatened his family. The worst of it is that Hodgins thinks that it is his fault Pallant did this in the first place. Brennan does her magic looking at the bones but the twist on this is that they cannot use computers because Pallant is a computer genius. So Hodgins uses this old communication device to make contact with the FBI. It works great because it is the one way Pallant cannot catch them in an act. He figured out how to access Brennan's burn phone which Booth had the number to, and he called to tell her that she has missed his message in the body. The body turned out to be just like these bodies that this guy use to skin and position just like Pallant did. There was a code in the body that was a word standing for school, and it turned out that there was a plane heading to this school full of young girls. They managed to get back online and get into the system controlling the plane. Angela went in and was about to shut it all down, but then Hodgins saw something concerning on the other screen. Pallant had made it so all of Hodgins' accounts would be drained at the same time forcing him to choose between saving lives of innocent children or all of his fortune. Of course being the good stand up guy Hodgins is he chose to save the kids. As all of this was going on Booth and Flynn went to the place where Pallant had been, and they chased him down the halls. They followed him to this room where a gun was hidden in the wall and it shot Flynn like crazy. Booth chased after Pallant who took off in a car he stole. Booth shoots him and you see blood all over the windshield, but he got away so the search continues. Flynn did not die just went to the hospital and he will live. Hodgins is now broke, but still rich in love as Angela pointed out to him. Booth is all broken up because Pallant got away, but the fact that he is injured is an up for them. The final scene is Pallant in an animal shelter stitching himself up , and his face is so messed up his eye is all weird and white and then the whole right side is full of stitches. Overall I give this show a 8 1/2 out of 10 maybe a 9 but it was way better than the past few episodes.
