Week of July 16, 2012
This week on General Hospital a lot of the same stories were continued, Heather got arrested and taken in for questioning for the murder of Anthony. Luke is still being held hostage in that creepy little shack in the woods, and as of Friday's episode Luke was working on a way out and accidentally started a fire. So Luke is now tied up in a burning shack when nobody knows where he is, or so he thinks. As we all know Dante and Anna have come a long way in this case and now know where Luke is being held captive by Heather. Meanwhile Heather is dead set on getting Olivia out of her son's life for good, a dosage of LSD which was intended for Anna might make its way into Olivia's blood stream instead. Olivia caught Heather placing ice tea in Anna's room so she of course questioned her endlessly about it until she made a call to Dante, and he told his mother to get as far away from Heather as possible. As soon as she heard the worry in her son's voice she hung up and tried to get out quickly but Heather was not going to let go that easily. Heather pushed the door closed and told Olivia that she basically did not stand a chance. Heather has been busy in her short time in Port Charles, and when Steve finds out he is going to lose it! Heather is responsible for the death of Maggie, and they have proof now that they have the forger in custody. Things are not looking good for Heather.
On the Manning front Todd had a mini heart attack when he learned that his ex Blair would be coming to Port Charles for their daughters big singing debut at the Haunted Star. He ranted to Carly about how much he hated Blair's boyfriend Tomas Delgado, and how much he did not like Blair with him. Carly agreed to keep Blair and Tomas out of the hotel if Todd promised to back off Johnny in every way they came to an agreement and ended it at that. Todd was about to go back on his deal when he saw that Olivia ignored the cancellation Carly noted on Blair's reservation and Blair was right across from Todd's room. Then Todd found out that Blair was there alone, and he got another big idea in his head which was this was his chance to get his millionth shot with Blair. Carly arranged a nice private dinner in Todd's room for when him and Blair got back from the grand opening of the Haunted Star. Todd poured his heart out to Blair in Friday's episode and we got to hear the sweet side of Todd again which seems to only come out for Blair, and then he got down on one knee and asked her to be his wife again. After the commercials which seemed to last FOREVER it came back on and we heard her answer was a flat out no. I was so sad for Todd he loves Blair so much and all he wanted was a fresh start, but Blair was there to tell him that she was already engaged to Tomas and was soon to marry him. Todd's face broke my heart it was so sad to see him so happy then in five seconds it was all over because of Tomas. Todd can just not win these days, he has suspicions about Johnny which are valid Johnny can not be trusted especially now, and Heather is blackmailing him like crazy. Heather had him go into the woods to hydrate, and feed Luke so he would not die. Luke played the daughter card and almost got Todd to untie him, but Todd remembered if he did anything to screw up Heather's plans she would tell that he switched Tea's baby with Sam's and that he knows the real father of the baby is Jason not Franco. Starr had an amazing opening night where she sang beautifully, and she announced her relationship with Michael. Yes Starr and Michael went public with their families by sharing a kiss after her performance. That's one way to tell people you're dating let them see you kiss.
All week Kate has been seeing something but not really being able to put it together in her head, all she kept seeing was Johnny talking to her well to Connie. When all the charges against Kate got dropped mostly because of Starr, she kept seeing that moment with Johnny. Then after she has sex with Sonny she remembers hearing what Johnny told her, we see Kate going to see Johnny looking very Connie like. I hope Connie is not back I will be annoyed... Besides that the other big news is that Trey is in fact the son she left when she was eighteen, and Joe Jr is going to do whatever it takes to keep his son safe, and out of Sonny's path.
Patrick is still on drugs but things have gotten worse so it seems. He never stopped taking them even thought Maxie thinks he did, at the Haunted Star we see him take quite a few pills. He thinks he sees Robin standing there and she asks him to save her... HMMMMM what could that mean?? Robin is still ALIVE? I like to think so. She disappears so he goes off, and when he comes back he sees her again only this time Lulu is there and he thinks its Robin. He kisses her, and Lulu freaks on him, and exposes him for still using the drugs. Hopefully things look up for Patrick soon he has been through enough!
That is all for this week the big thing right now is Heather and Todd, and I'm loving those story lines. I have always liked Todd's story lines his are usually interesting. Can not wait for the new episodes tune into General Hospital Weekdays on ABC.
