Modern Family After Thoughts

This show just seems to never stop being funny to me. I think it is because it reminds me of my family sometimes, and I think that a lot of people can relate to it for that same reason. It is a good family show that can be enjoyed any day of the week.

Gloria is in need of glasses, only she doesn't want to get glasses because she doesn't want to get old. Jay pulls a stunt where he pretends to eat rat poison, and he needs her to read the box to instruct him what to do. When she has difficulty reading it he demands that she needs to get some glasses, and stop being so vain. Jay as it turns out has some issues with his hearing, and they do a hearing test on him. He tells Gloria that he likes that she is getting older, it makes him feel closer to her. At that sweet line she puts on the glasses, and gasps at the lines she sees on his face. That cracked me up, and when he grabbed them off her face and said "These are only for reading."

Phil and Claire said that they were not going to Luke's soccer game because he always just ends up sitting on the bench the whole time. Claire finishes all her errands earlier than expected so she stops by Luke's game to see him anyway. Luke as it happens is playing the game of his life, and meanwhile Phil is at home killing a nest of baby birds. His gutter cleaner robot hit a birds nest and killed all the poor babies. The rest of the evening is filled with bird killing quotes, and it is quite hilarious. I really love the casting on this show because they all just fit so perfectly, and seeing them all together is so funny. Claire comes clean and says she was at Luke's game, and that he played the best game of his life. Phil and Claire have such a unique romance just like all the couples on the show, and it is something that you could want in a relationship.

Cam's sister Pam comes to visit, and Cam did not want to tell her he was engaged. He thought that she would be so upset because she wasn't married or didn't have any kids. Lily spills the beans on the wedding, and when Pam says "That can't be right" Lilly reply is "That's what my friend said." Lilly has such a dry human that may seem messed up but it is so funny, and you look forward to her little quips. Pam says she is happier than can be for them, and it is because she is engaged to a handsome farm man named Bo. That same man happens to be the guy Cam had his first crush on, and he is a bit jealous about it. This causes the siblings to fight about who is the most sensitive, and it is hilarious. The make up in the bathroom at Jay, and Gloria's later that night of course.

I love Modern Family, I just love it so much. It's full of love and humor. Definitely check it out if you have not done so yet. Thanks as always for reading.

This Week in Port Charles "General Hospital" Update

So I have been catching up on "General Hospital" and let me tell you that it has been a crazy week in Port Charles. Everyone who is a fan of "General Hospital" or soap operas in general know that they always take the most drastic, yet obvious turns in the plot lines. I love all this intense drama, and lives being on the line, and all the baby drama of this show. Dante and Lulu now know that Connie is not really their child, and now Maxie and Spinelli want their child back. Lulu decided that she is going to sue them for custody of Connie. Let's just talk about this story line for a moment shall we? Legally it seems like the favor would land with Maxie and Spinelli since they are the real parents, but if Lulu goes and tells a judge all of the stuff Maxie has done then yeah that could cause some trouble. I really want to see Maxie and Spinelli, even though Dante and Lulu have wanted a baby so badly. Yes, they have bonded with the baby, and have prepared for rai...

Where Have I Been??

Hello readers. I have taken about a year away from writing on this blog and it has been a very interesting experience. I have gotten a new job which has consumed quite a bit of time, and I have started a new relationship which takes up the other half of my time. I do miss writing though about different shows and I cannot wait to get back into this. I am going to make this a part of my routine and try to get at least a few posts out a week.  I am super excited to talk the final season of Scandal and of course Grey's Anatomy. There are also some cool shows on Netflix that I have been waiting to discuss, and cannot wait. I hope that people will read the new stuff I am writing and enjoy it just as before.  Thank you all and remember...  ~Keep Dreaming and Scheming~

Ship of the Week? Lizzington

Hello all and welcome to another Ship of the Week. Today we have the concierge of crime Raymond Reddington and FBI agent Elizabeth Keen. In the beginning it sort of seems like they are making it out like Red is Liz's father, but there I can see something else being there too. Especially in recent episode when she has a dream of Red asking her who she really wants, and he is totally checking out her bare legs, as she lay on that bed in that hotel room. Red is such a badass criminal and what makes him even more loveable is the fact that he has emotional damage that drive him to do what he does. He has lost so much, but he also loves a great deal and is very loyal, and expects loyalty in return. I love that about this character and think that James Spader plays Raymond Reddington perfectly. Plus he looks heck of cute in those suits, and hats *swoon.* Liz was married to a man named Tom Keen who we find out rather quickly is a total liar. He was placed in her life because of Redd...
