Remember Heroes

There are some shows that just hook you in from episode one, and one of the shows that did that for me was Heroes. This show follows the lives of different people coming into their powers, and the people who are trying to capture them. This show is about superheroes so of course there is a bad guy, and his name is Sylar. This is the show that made me fall in love with Zachary Quinto for his role as Sylar. He played the villain so well and he just had the right attitude for playing someone as disturbed as Sylar. You see Sylar wanted to be all powerful and have all the super powers he could get, so he would cut the tops of the heroes heads and take their brain. He would take the part of the brain that gave them their powers in the first place, and he would gain that power. It was a very interesting concept to have the villain go in and just take out the super part of your brain and use it to destroy the entire world. Sylar was an odd character because sometimes he would seem so evil but other times he wouldn't seem so bad in our eyes. Anyone who watched this show would remember the scene in later season where Sylar is making waffles for his son. That was a cute scene, it was also a dream, but still it was sweet. I thought Sylar was one of the best TV villains in my opinion and I love that he was so deliciously evil, and how much he just did not care, but then at the same time he did care. Like I said it was very interesting, and at times a bit confusing.

Claire Bennet was a cheerleader in high school who was part of a prophecy that stated 'save the cheerleader save the world.' Sylar was after Claire for her power which was that she couldn't die, unless you stabbed her in a particular spot on her head. She was the daughter of two people with powers, but she grew up with Noah Bennet and his family instead. Nathan Petrelli was her birth father but he was a married politician when Claire came around in the world, so they had to cover up the birth of course. She was given to Noah for protection and because he worked for the company that was capturing all the heroes. Noah really did love Claire I think, but she had a hard time trusting him especially when she found out who he really was. I thought Claire was a great character, but sometimes as any great character does she got pushed aside because of a cooler power. Her uncle Peter Petrelli had a power that made it capable for him to absorb other peoples powers if he was close to them. It made sense as to why he had a dream that he could fly because his brother Nathan had that ability to fly, and Peter was around him long enough to absorb it himself. Peter would just have to learn how to use it and how to control the power, and then he would be able to use it as his own.

This show has action, drama, comedy, and romance all rolled up into an hour of awesome. I think that this would be a great show for all of my readers to watch. It is available on Netflix, and from episode one it will just capture your attention.  Thank you so much for reading today, and don't forget about the line up for tonight; Once Upon A Time, and The walking Dead tonight.

Eric Northman and Sookie Stackhouse

Hello world, today the ship is going to be Eric Northman and Sookie Stackhouse from True Blood. Ever since the first season I had liked Eric more than Bill, and I thought his moments with Sookie were so real. Does that make sense? A lot has happened over the years, but when Eric and Sookie were finally a thing, or as close to a thing as they can get I was so happy. Of course it doesn't last long because it is always that never ending 'which man to choose' battle going on in her head. I am still holding out for a bit of hope that they end up together, but probably not. Especially with recent events leaving Eric to catch the sunlight, and since Warlowe is dead the blood that was taken from him is also done for. So Eric is off in another place alone when he comes out butt naked, and sits to read in the sunlight. I really did like this scene for multiple reasons, but it was a great scene because Eric thought he was safe, and that he could do what he wanted but that is not t...

Ship of the Week? Lizzington

Hello all and welcome to another Ship of the Week. Today we have the concierge of crime Raymond Reddington and FBI agent Elizabeth Keen. In the beginning it sort of seems like they are making it out like Red is Liz's father, but there I can see something else being there too. Especially in recent episode when she has a dream of Red asking her who she really wants, and he is totally checking out her bare legs, as she lay on that bed in that hotel room. Red is such a badass criminal and what makes him even more loveable is the fact that he has emotional damage that drive him to do what he does. He has lost so much, but he also loves a great deal and is very loyal, and expects loyalty in return. I love that about this character and think that James Spader plays Raymond Reddington perfectly. Plus he looks heck of cute in those suits, and hats *swoon.* Liz was married to a man named Tom Keen who we find out rather quickly is a total liar. He was placed in her life because of Redd...
