First Thoughts on Daredevil

I have been waiting quite sometime for this show since it was said to be happening over a year ago, and I was not disappointed. Sometimes when you wait a long time for something it doesn't live up to what you had in mind, but that is not the case with Daredevil. I am hooked on it already and I am three episodes in. I think it is a good shout out to the comics that started it all of course, and fans shouldn't be disappointed by it either.

The series consisting of thirteen episodes hit Netflix at 12:01 PST. I was eagerly waiting the clock to strike midnight so I could begin watching, and I do not regret it. It is now around 3 AM and I am writing this because I just could not wait. I am only three episodes in and I love the story. I think Charlie Cox is a great choice for Matt Murdock. You never know for sure when someone is cast is something you have been a fan of for a long time, but he is amazing and I think they made a great choice.

So far we have seen some of Matt's up bringing with his father, and I will not spoil anything but it was so well done. He has such a good back story, and the flashbacks in the show flow really well. I hope that the pace of the show does not slow down because I have been on the edge of my seat from the start. The other great thing about this being a Netflix series is that the violence gets graphic, and they can use the occasional swear word when need be. Unlike Marvel's other TV series Agent's of S.H.I.E.L.D and Agent Carter this show is a little less family oriented. It is a bit darker than the other shows and because of it's placement on Netflix like I said it is more graphic. I have also seen a couple Marvel Easter eggs that will make any and every fan girl and boy squeal and roll around on the floor while everyone around you contemplates whether or not you should be locked up in a padded room. Or is that just what my family's stares say? No matter I am 100% into this show and I just know it will over too quickly.

Thank you so much for reading and I will do follow up posts when more of my brain is functioning.

Eric Northman and Sookie Stackhouse

Hello world, today the ship is going to be Eric Northman and Sookie Stackhouse from True Blood. Ever since the first season I had liked Eric more than Bill, and I thought his moments with Sookie were so real. Does that make sense? A lot has happened over the years, but when Eric and Sookie were finally a thing, or as close to a thing as they can get I was so happy. Of course it doesn't last long because it is always that never ending 'which man to choose' battle going on in her head. I am still holding out for a bit of hope that they end up together, but probably not. Especially with recent events leaving Eric to catch the sunlight, and since Warlowe is dead the blood that was taken from him is also done for. So Eric is off in another place alone when he comes out butt naked, and sits to read in the sunlight. I really did like this scene for multiple reasons, but it was a great scene because Eric thought he was safe, and that he could do what he wanted but that is not t...

Ship of the Week? Lizzington

Hello all and welcome to another Ship of the Week. Today we have the concierge of crime Raymond Reddington and FBI agent Elizabeth Keen. In the beginning it sort of seems like they are making it out like Red is Liz's father, but there I can see something else being there too. Especially in recent episode when she has a dream of Red asking her who she really wants, and he is totally checking out her bare legs, as she lay on that bed in that hotel room. Red is such a badass criminal and what makes him even more loveable is the fact that he has emotional damage that drive him to do what he does. He has lost so much, but he also loves a great deal and is very loyal, and expects loyalty in return. I love that about this character and think that James Spader plays Raymond Reddington perfectly. Plus he looks heck of cute in those suits, and hats *swoon.* Liz was married to a man named Tom Keen who we find out rather quickly is a total liar. He was placed in her life because of Redd...
