I LOVE MOVIES!

I have never really expressed just how much I love a good movie. Even a not so good movie I enjoy from time to time. Movies that I really love sometimes other people thought it was really bad, but I just am in love with movies. I can't help but gush about the subject because there are so many amazing movies that most people don't even know about these days. I am always reminded of this by my little brother or sister talking about movies they want to see or movies their friends like. I can't help but sigh because they have no idea how good a movie can really be. I make sure my younger siblings are properly educated when it comes to movies. Of course they have their own likes and that is great, I just can't stand when they won't give something a watch because it is old. Older movies are the best and now I keep seeing movies similar or they are a remake of a series, or movie that didn't need a remake.

My all time favorite movie is The Mummy starting Brendan Fraser. I fell in love with this movie the first time my aunt showed it to me, and I was only about six when the movie came out and I watched it for the first time when I was around eight or nine years old. I liked the story of the mummy in the tomb and him coming to life, and taking the lives of the people who opened the chest which contained his organs. I think my parents should have known then I was a bit different. I had a lot of favorite parts in the movie, but one was when Rick and Evelyn are drinking and she tells him that she is proud of what she is, and that she is a librarian. I laughed so hard at that part and still do every time I watch it. I just am a huge fan of the story being told. An ancient mummy coming back to life and trying to bring back his one true love. It is darkly romantic in a way and it had action, funny bits, and romance what more could you ask for?

A movie that I have always loved is To Kill A Mockingbird it also happens to be one of my favorite books. The film was made in 1962 staring Gregory Peck who played Atticus Finch. I love this movie because it teaches a lesson about racism, and I sometimes think some people still don't understand how crazy it was back then. Atticus is defending a man who was charged with harming a young white woman, but she is the one who came onto him but a lot of people didn't see it that way. That is just part of the story however, because Scout and her brother Jem are very curious about their neighbor Boo Radley. Boo never stepped foot outside and nobody really saw him, but one night he came out to save Jem and Scout's lives. I will forever love this movie for not only for the lesson's that it teaches you, but for how well done it was.

I am a huge Tom Hanks fan and I love most of his movies, in fact I am going to list some of my favorites. I love him in That Thing You Do when he plays a manager to this band the Oneders. I can still remember watching this for the first time because it is a favorite of my cousins, and falling in love with Shades the cool drummer. Of course I am a huge fan of Toy Story, I mean who wouldn't like a movie about toys coming to life and being awesome heroes, and saving the day? I am a fan of Cast Away because I like movies and even shows about people being stranded on islands. Tom Hanks delivers such an amazing performance and I just love watching him.

I am going to save some other movies so I can make another post maybe some movies that I thought I would love that I didn't. Perhaps some guilty pleasure movies that I watch who knows. Thank so much for reading everyone.

Ship of the Week? Lizzington

Hello all and welcome to another Ship of the Week. Today we have the concierge of crime Raymond Reddington and FBI agent Elizabeth Keen. In the beginning it sort of seems like they are making it out like Red is Liz's father, but there I can see something else being there too. Especially in recent episode when she has a dream of Red asking her who she really wants, and he is totally checking out her bare legs, as she lay on that bed in that hotel room. Red is such a badass criminal and what makes him even more loveable is the fact that he has emotional damage that drive him to do what he does. He has lost so much, but he also loves a great deal and is very loyal, and expects loyalty in return. I love that about this character and think that James Spader plays Raymond Reddington perfectly. Plus he looks heck of cute in those suits, and hats *swoon.* Liz was married to a man named Tom Keen who we find out rather quickly is a total liar. He was placed in her life because of Redd...

Eric Northman and Sookie Stackhouse

Hello world, today the ship is going to be Eric Northman and Sookie Stackhouse from True Blood. Ever since the first season I had liked Eric more than Bill, and I thought his moments with Sookie were so real. Does that make sense? A lot has happened over the years, but when Eric and Sookie were finally a thing, or as close to a thing as they can get I was so happy. Of course it doesn't last long because it is always that never ending 'which man to choose' battle going on in her head. I am still holding out for a bit of hope that they end up together, but probably not. Especially with recent events leaving Eric to catch the sunlight, and since Warlowe is dead the blood that was taken from him is also done for. So Eric is off in another place alone when he comes out butt naked, and sits to read in the sunlight. I really did like this scene for multiple reasons, but it was a great scene because Eric thought he was safe, and that he could do what he wanted but that is not t...
