I cannot believe this weeks intense episode of Game of Thrones. I was nervous going into the episode, and I just could not hold back my yelling throughout the episode. I will not get to everything that happened in tonight's episode, just my top moments.
First I need to address the whole Sansa thing because it is escalating rather quickly. She was asked about her Aunt's sudden death which Baelish said was a suicide. When Sansa was asked she told Baelish she had to tell the truth and he looked about ready to drop dead, but Sansa surprised the shit out of me when she started speaking. She went on to say that Baelish told a lot of lies but they were all to protect her, and that he took her from Kings Landing because she was being abused by the Lannisters. Which considering how much they disliked the Lannisters they are, they believed. Sansa did a wonderful job saying that her Aunt was jealous and saw just an innocent peck on the cheek and overreacted to it and did in fact kill herself. The look on Petyr's face was freaking priceless because now he was no longer under suspicion for killing his wife. Now he wants to get Robin out there in the world, and Sansa is playing him right along too. I am loving the change in Sansa, and it is about time she started to get more interesting.
Second thing on my mind was how heart broken I was when I saw that Jorah was the spy sending the info on Daenerys plans. It started the day they met and he told them everything about her getting married to Drogo, about the baby, and everything. This just killed me because she trusted him beyond anyone else, and now that she had him banished how will that effect her? He did do quite a bit for her, and he did fall in love with her. That made it so much worse because she was so sad, and now they are torn apart. I am thinking of what kind of effect this will have on the way Daenerys handles everything from here on out. I just could not get over that and I was so pissed and sad by this, I was feeling so many different things all at once.
The final thing I am going to mention is Tyrion... This whole thing has caused me to go crazy because Tyrion is my favorite character, no matter how hard I try not to get attached to characters it always happens. Tyrion and Jamie had yet another nice little moment in Tyrion's cell before the trial by combat started. Tyrion told a story of their cousin who was dropped on his head as a baby, and since then was not all there. Tyrion talked about how he was always so fascinated by the fact that he would just sit all day and crush beetles. He never did figure out why it was on his brain so much of the time, and then it was time for the battle. Oberyn was fighting like a badass too! I was so nervous going into this battle and then he started kicking but. You could see the look on Tyrion's face, even Jamie's face when the fight started to go in Oberyn's favor. Only it was too good to be true because as soon has he had the mountain down bleeding almost dead, he stops so that the guy can admit what he did to his sister. Yes he should get justice, but seriously not when you're messing with Tyrion's life! The mountain gets him, knocks his teeth out and then squishes his eyeballs, and totally squishes his head. It was insane, and Cersei could not look more pleased when Tywin announced the execution of Tyrion Lannister. The look on Tyrion's face killed me, and the look on Jamie's face did me in too.
There were too many emotions happening to me, and now there are two more episodes left and they are going to be crazy. I cannot wait to watch next week, and I hope you enjoyed this post. Thank you for reading.
