Anyone Remember "Firefly"?

Science fiction is one of this worlds greatest treasures that some people don't really care for these days. There is always the rival between Sci-fi and reality TV, just like anything else up against reality shows. Firefly is one of those shows that till this day has a very huge, and dedicated fan base. This show staring Nathan Fillion was created by Joss Whedon, and it was a fantastic show. The browncoats fought for what they believed in, and this group upon the ship Serenity made their money dealing with whomever needed them.

Of the group there was Captain Malcolm Reynolds, Zoe Washburne, Hoban "Wash" Washburne, Inara Serra, Jayne Cobb, Kaylee Frye, Dr. Simon Tam, River Tam, and Shepherd Book. An unlikely group of people who become some what of a family no matter the disputes they have. Simon and River are on the run from The Alliance which is the government because they were doing testing on River and it really messed her up. Mal lets them aboard the ship, and they become part of the team and that means they need to help do the jobs. Inara is a companion which is basically a prostitute, but she likes traveling with this group. She does her business but travels along with her friends, and just takes her shuttle out when she has a job to do some where else. Mal and Inara were the couple that everyone wanted to see together, and in the end you sort of did in a way but we still wanted more.

This series was only one season and then had the movie "Serenity" come out, but even with just that, this show has a large following that seems to keep growing. The show just recently celebrated its 10 year anniversary, and it made me stop and think "wow this show is still a huge part of my life, and it was only one short season, and an epic movie." The fact that it was so well written and fans fell in love with the characters made this show what it was. Joss is known by his fans for killing off beloved characters, and as a Joss Whedon fan I can back up that statement completely. In the movie "Serenity" Wash is killed, and it was one of the saddest things I had ever seen. Wash was a funny and quirky character that just made you smile, and he was played by Alan Tudyk who is a great actor. Wash was married to Zoe, and they were sort of that couple that when you saw them, you wondered how they even ended up together. They were so cute though that it didn't matter, and when he died it was just so horrible. So thank you Joss Whedon for ripping my heart out, but please never stop making such great movies, and television.

"Firefly" is an amazing show that was short lived, and it deserved to be on longer, but the way it went out was great. This show is still very much alive with its fans, and those fans pass it on to their friends, and that is how the fan base grows each day. I hope that if any of my readers have not see the show that they will check it out, because it is one amazing show. Thank you as always for reading, and have a great Sunday.

Keep Dreaming and Scheming! Till Next Time!

Ship of the Week? Lizzington

Hello all and welcome to another Ship of the Week. Today we have the concierge of crime Raymond Reddington and FBI agent Elizabeth Keen. In the beginning it sort of seems like they are making it out like Red is Liz's father, but there I can see something else being there too. Especially in recent episode when she has a dream of Red asking her who she really wants, and he is totally checking out her bare legs, as she lay on that bed in that hotel room. Red is such a badass criminal and what makes him even more loveable is the fact that he has emotional damage that drive him to do what he does. He has lost so much, but he also loves a great deal and is very loyal, and expects loyalty in return. I love that about this character and think that James Spader plays Raymond Reddington perfectly. Plus he looks heck of cute in those suits, and hats *swoon.* Liz was married to a man named Tom Keen who we find out rather quickly is a total liar. He was placed in her life because of Redd...

This Week in Port Charles "General Hospital" Update

So I have been catching up on "General Hospital" and let me tell you that it has been a crazy week in Port Charles. Everyone who is a fan of "General Hospital" or soap operas in general know that they always take the most drastic, yet obvious turns in the plot lines. I love all this intense drama, and lives being on the line, and all the baby drama of this show. Dante and Lulu now know that Connie is not really their child, and now Maxie and Spinelli want their child back. Lulu decided that she is going to sue them for custody of Connie. Let's just talk about this story line for a moment shall we? Legally it seems like the favor would land with Maxie and Spinelli since they are the real parents, but if Lulu goes and tells a judge all of the stuff Maxie has done then yeah that could cause some trouble. I really want to see Maxie and Spinelli, even though Dante and Lulu have wanted a baby so badly. Yes, they have bonded with the baby, and have prepared for rai...

Pretty Little Liars: Ali Back in Rosewood

I was late watching the new episode of Pretty Little Liars because I have been watching a lot of General Hospital the last few days. I like that Ali is back in Rosewood because now we are going to see a whole other thing start to happen. Now that Shanna is no more they think they are safe, but Ali gets a text that lets her know it is far from over. So while Ali is about to tell Hollbrook everything that happened she comes up with this fake story about how she was kidnapped and what not. Jason is acting very strange these days and it is freaking me out. He basically threatened Hanna and Emily when they left Ali's house one night and they were talking about an e-mail on Mrs. D's computer that read 'I can't protect you anymore.' I am thinking that went to Jason, could he be the one who hit Ali with that rock? Mona is back in Mikes life which is getting to Aria especially since she heard Ali's side of the story. That Mona had been in on the whole A thing all alo...
