The Walking Dead "Indifference" After Thoughts

Carol has gone cold these days with all the killing, and all her views about the world they are in now. An accidental slip of the word 'Mom' from Lizzie and that showed a little more of Carol's coldness. Sometimes I forget that she is a mother, and that she lost Sophia to the walkers in season 2. Rick takes Carol on a run and Maggie wanted to go, but Rick needed someone to look out for things, but Carol knew that it was partly because the trust she had from Rick. Oh Carol, she just had to change from who she was and all she is trying to do is save the group from dying. This episode brought up a lot of good points that are easy to forget sometimes, and it was so intense to see Carol being so cold. Carol has killed two people who everyone had cared about, but Rick is sort of seeing her as a threat now. Rick doesn't think people are safe with Carol around, but all she is doing is trying to make things safe for everyone.

Carol has been through so much hell that it is no wonder that she became as cold as she shown in the last couple episodes. She was in an abusive relationship for years so that is all she knew, and now she isn't afraid anymore. She has the strength to stand up for what she thinks is right, and even if it doesn't seem right to others she is doing what has to be done. Just like when she was teaching the kids in the prison how to use knives, it was so that they knew how to protect themselves out there. Rick was being unrealistic when he thought kids should have nothing to do with weapons. The truth of the matter is that in this world you do what you have to, or you die it is that simple. Carol was an abused housewife who never spoke out about anything, and she found happiness in that because she was not alone. Now she has the strength, and confidence to so and she is alone now that Rick has kicked her out of the group. I can honestly say I did not know what Rick was going to do about Carol killing two of their own, but the moment she went to open the car door and it was locked, it was sort of like "Rick is so leaving her ass there." You know because Rick sees it as she cannot be trusted any longer but is he forgetting that he killed Shane? When Carol mentions that he reminds her that he was trying to kill him, but in Carol's point of view Karen and David would have killed them by spreading the virus. It is very hard to find a hard line of right and wrong, because you have to make life and death calls everyday.

Daryl, Tyreese, Michonne, and Bob are out looking for the medicine they need, and they come across some walkers with the red eyes like all the infected people had at the prison. So they were sick too before turning into walkers. A bit before they get to the hospital they see a gas station where they are in search of a new car, and they find some walkers stuck inside. They need to get in to find a car battery, but Tyreese just starts hacking away at the leaf coverage and walkers emerge. Tyreese is holding on so tightly to his anger that at this point he is putting the whole group in danger because he doesn't really care what happens to himself at the moment. Losing Karen was just a stab to the heart, and with his sister now sick he is beginning to wonder why he is still alive and well. Tyreese has a talk with Michonne and she tells him that he needs to let go of all the anger, and I think that is when we start to see her own anger go away. When you saw Michonne in the prison holding Judith for the first time you see the pain in her eyes, and hits you that she was the one to lose a child and its just heart breaking. Daryl told Michonne that the trail on the Governor has gone cold, and she should just stop looking but at the time she doesn't want to be tied to a group. It is starting to make more and more sense that Michonne does not want to get close to anyone again because she is afraid to feel that pain again that comes with loving, and caring for another person. When we met Michonne she was a loner who traveled with two walkers on chains, and now she is bring back candy and comic books for Carl, and flirting with Rick. She has come a long way, and so has Carol.

While out on the run Bob tells Daryl that he feels responsible for what happened at the store, because he picked up the bottle of wine then broke the shelf. Daryl tells him not to feel bad because none of them could have know all those walkers were up on the roof like that, and any noise would have set them off. You sort of see a little bond start to form between the two, but that is quickly squashed by the end of the episode. While in the vet school you see Bob looking at some books and a bed in a classroom, I assumed he was garbing some of the books that were left there. Turns out he put a bottle of whiskey in his bag, and he put none of the medicine in there. When they are attacked by walkers and have to escape out a window Bob falls a little and his bag leans off the side of the roof. There are walkers down there who grab the bag and will not let go, Bob is struggling for the bag while everyone is telling to just let it go. When Bob gets the bag up and the bottle falls out I thought Daryl was going to kill Bob, and feed him to the walkers. Daryl's and Bob's friendship was short lived, because now he is just on Daryl's hate list. The part where Daryl was getting all in Bob's face was a moment I just loved because Daryl is so intimidating, and Bob should look out for him. Now Daryl had a crappy day, and is going back to the prison and has to find out that Carol is no longer there.

Carol and Rick met two new people while out on their run, and when they offer to help them out with nothing in return Rick tells them they might not be up to fighting off walkers. Carol lets them help and while Rick and Carol have a little heart to heart about their lives, Ana and Sam are off looking for things. Ana was killed sad to say because her bad leg couldn't let her move very fast, and Sam is nowhere to be seen. Rick wants to wait a bit longer because he gave Sam his watch, and Rick is a sentimental guy so giving something like that away was sort of dumb on Rick's part.

So I want to know how you think Daryl is going to react to the news about Carol, and what Rick is exactly going to tell them. Do you think he is going to tell the truth? Do you think Rick in some way saved her life, because when Tyreese finds out as Rick pointed out he will kill her. The way Carol is now she can sort of handle herself better on her own, and Rick tells her she will find another group that will not know what she has done. Rick makes it sound like there are just trusting people left every where in the world, which is a tad funny coming from Rick who trusts no stranger. Carol asks to take Lizzie and Mika with her, and so that brings me to the conclusion that she is cold, but she isn't heartless. This season has been so intense, and full of great story lines, and it is only going to get more intense with time. Let me know what you think in the comments, and as always thank you for reading.

Ship of the Week? Lizzington

Hello all and welcome to another Ship of the Week. Today we have the concierge of crime Raymond Reddington and FBI agent Elizabeth Keen. In the beginning it sort of seems like they are making it out like Red is Liz's father, but there I can see something else being there too. Especially in recent episode when she has a dream of Red asking her who she really wants, and he is totally checking out her bare legs, as she lay on that bed in that hotel room. Red is such a badass criminal and what makes him even more loveable is the fact that he has emotional damage that drive him to do what he does. He has lost so much, but he also loves a great deal and is very loyal, and expects loyalty in return. I love that about this character and think that James Spader plays Raymond Reddington perfectly. Plus he looks heck of cute in those suits, and hats *swoon.* Liz was married to a man named Tom Keen who we find out rather quickly is a total liar. He was placed in her life because of Redd...

This Week in Port Charles "General Hospital" Update

So I have been catching up on "General Hospital" and let me tell you that it has been a crazy week in Port Charles. Everyone who is a fan of "General Hospital" or soap operas in general know that they always take the most drastic, yet obvious turns in the plot lines. I love all this intense drama, and lives being on the line, and all the baby drama of this show. Dante and Lulu now know that Connie is not really their child, and now Maxie and Spinelli want their child back. Lulu decided that she is going to sue them for custody of Connie. Let's just talk about this story line for a moment shall we? Legally it seems like the favor would land with Maxie and Spinelli since they are the real parents, but if Lulu goes and tells a judge all of the stuff Maxie has done then yeah that could cause some trouble. I really want to see Maxie and Spinelli, even though Dante and Lulu have wanted a baby so badly. Yes, they have bonded with the baby, and have prepared for rai...

Pretty Little Liars: Ali Back in Rosewood

I was late watching the new episode of Pretty Little Liars because I have been watching a lot of General Hospital the last few days. I like that Ali is back in Rosewood because now we are going to see a whole other thing start to happen. Now that Shanna is no more they think they are safe, but Ali gets a text that lets her know it is far from over. So while Ali is about to tell Hollbrook everything that happened she comes up with this fake story about how she was kidnapped and what not. Jason is acting very strange these days and it is freaking me out. He basically threatened Hanna and Emily when they left Ali's house one night and they were talking about an e-mail on Mrs. D's computer that read 'I can't protect you anymore.' I am thinking that went to Jason, could he be the one who hit Ali with that rock? Mona is back in Mikes life which is getting to Aria especially since she heard Ali's side of the story. That Mona had been in on the whole A thing all alo...
